Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2025-26

To all the fellow parents who didn't get a luck in DOL. I myself in the same boat and had written an email and would like to send a post also about helping and guiding those parents. I don't know if I'll receive a response or not but I request to all of you to do the same so that we can have some words of assurance or hope from them.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Myself Dinesh Singh Negi, living in Nehru Nagar, New Delhi - 110065, would like to make an humble request if you can really guide me and all other fellow parents who are not lucky enough to get a name on the DOL done by schools for the admission of Nursery Standard on what should we do?

I'm a father of two, a 3 year old son and a 2 months old daughter, this whole admission process had shocked me from inside. The whole process of point and criteria, then form submission, then changing of points criteria in the middle, then allotment of management quota in some schools, some schools are fair enough to conduct an open draw and some school just announce the list on their notice board. I know and understand it's the same for every parent, some parents are lucky enough to get their ward on 5-6 schools and some are left with 1 or no choice.

Sir, this whole process is nothing less then a night mare believe me I'm having sleepless nights and too worried for the future of my kids in Delhi.

Just for your reference, I've applied on the following school but no luck.

Dear Dinesh,

I am also in the same position, in spite of applying in 28 School in and around Lajpat Nagar, my son have not been selected in any of the school.

but we need to wait till next list which will be displayed on 29th Feb and after the 2nd list we should visit the schools and talk to the admission administration, they also have a fair idea about available seats after 2nd list.

What is your review about HolyChild Tagore Garden?

I know its a traditional school, but how do they fair in extra curriculars? Sports? Arts?

Dear Moderators and parents,

Please suggest which school should I opt for my daughter between the following:

1. DPS international (IB board) - 12 KM

2. KR Mangalam GK2 (2KM)

3. Amity international Saket - 6 KM

Amity>KRM if CBSE. DPS good and expensive but decide the curriculum.

Agreed with Latha.

Btw, I attended the DPS International lucky draw. The principal outlined the differences in IB and CBSE. It indeed is a school of futuristic thoughts and application based learning.

Quite apt for global transfer cases; but she emphasized that the alumni from DPS Intl do not necessarily have to go abroad to study their UG. They try to maintain a balanced approach.

I liked the school infra and ambience; i am on waiting on that school.

However, if you wish to go for CBSE, Amity would be better than KR Manglam.
