This is with respect to your safety concern in schools, please check it for presidium, Indirapuram, if you havn't yet. Or google some news articles from 2011. Perhaps you might be aware of it, and everyone learns from their mistakes and correct them.

Are you saying Presidium is not secure...and what about learning from mistake,

I just wanted to share the PERSONAL opinion about the DPS Indirapuram. This is the school whom I have been watching out for sometime. I have following points to make :

1. Registration charges - Rs. 3000/- Is it reasonable from any point of view? No where close to any other school. Can they justify?

2. They don't keep their words - Initially principal said on their own dais that there won't be any further interaction and final result would come after two weeks or so after drilling the children alone for 1 hour for no reason. My kid was in a shocked state. I was not able to ask him what happened inside. Even then they conducted second interaction. Aren't they playing with parent's sentiment, time.....

3. They don't keep their word again - Initially they had said that kids who were upset (crying) would be given second chance. But they didn't.

4. Ok you are interacting with parents, wants to know about them....In my words you have taken a written test and afterwards a face to face interview. Can you place one teacher in front of me whom I can interact or know about him or can I drill him on few questions before admitting my kid to this school...I don't think this would ever happen.

5. Even after paying this huge amount we are getting tested. They are asking questions about our methods of parenting. Questioning about how we handle a kid whom we love most and nothing comes before him/her.

Moreover We were forced to stand outside in sun for an hour during first interaction :).
I have heard but not sure that they have 6 hours for nursery and that they have done to adjust their bus movement.

I don't have any personal grudges with anyone or with any school. its just I am frustrated with the current situation or It may be a case of sour grapes :) or I am helpless and somewhere I am culprit and desperate too.....Whatever DPS Indirapuram never deserved this overwhelming response :)

I totally agree with you.

Principal told that they are not doing any interview with Kids.. If DPSI has not taken interview then other schools not even filled admission form..

DPSI is totally a traditional school that we used to have in our time..

I really want to complaint against them by following this kind of procdure for nursery admission..

I am not at sure why people are hyped about DPSI..

Most of the schools in Noida are exploiting parents in absence of any regulatory body /Guidelines. Your points are very valid and applicable to majority of schools .

No uniform fee refund policy

Hello Dipak

I can understand that as parents how much frustrating the situations become and schools in their way of making business just become insensitive to our feelings, but then they have to do their jobs but should probably be more sensitized.

You will surely get your kid in a good school and this is what happens at the end of this so-called circus, and it is we the parents (I think) are responsible for creating a hype for one particular school, rather all schools are doing good in this competitive world as they all need to survive.

Hi Dipak,
DPS I has an unjustified registration fee. What had me more worried was the stress on competition and on winning. On how in the middle school level children are segregated into sections as per their capabilities. We all love winners but all kids don't stand first or second.
What about average kids... Mrs meeta rai didn't have much to say on how they hone onto the talents of an average kid. I guess that as parents that will be our job only...
