Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2024-25

We had our 1st interaction on 16th Aug n from the 15th night my baby had a high fever (102-103). We were really tensed on 16th also he had a temp. So we decided to contact the school for reschedule of interaction( I was not hopeful that they will reschedule it).but as we reached there n told our problem to one of the teacher she listen to us very calmly n told us to wrote an application mentioning our problem that child has temp. N then she assured us that we will get a call from them. After 2-3 days we received the call as they rescheduled our interaction on 23rd.

I m really great full to them.not only this they were also rescheduling interaction for those parents whose kids were not comfortable at that day.

But not able to understand what's the problem with other cases.

Has anyone who had 2nd interaction at Amity V-6 on 29th (or after that) heard about their selection? If so, what's the last date of fee payment?

yes I have got the selection confirmation for my son. Last date for fee payment is 10th September.

Dear Kamaljeet/Sakshi/Other Parents

I have got admission for my kid in Kothari Noida. Please suggest what to do as they have asked to deposit the fees in 2 days else the admission stands cancelled. The admission process is still on for DPS Noida/Amity Noida, there interactions havnt taken place yet. I personally feel that both these schools will continue till Sept end.......My question is -

1. Should we got ahead with Kothari ? Saw the school and met couple of teachers, its just great. Also its the oldest in new age schools like LVIS, Mayoor, Shiv Nadar.

2. Should we apply to other new age schools also despite getting admission in Kothari. If yes, which schools.

Varun,

If your ideology is to go with new age school and you like Kothari better go ahead with it. There's no point comparing it with Amity/DPS. Definitely Kothari is older and better than other's.

Otherwise if your priority is to get your child admitted in a old age school, you have to think if you can lose the admission money in Kothari and try for DPS/Amity. I think other new age schools will be open till Dec/Jan as happened in previous years also so it doesn't make any point to apply right now.

Thanks for the reply. Other schools have already opened their admissions like Shiv Nadar, Shriram Millenium, Lotus Valley, Mayoor to start in a day or two.......My question still remains that I hope that these new age schools give required weightage to academics too......and extra curriculars are not made a substitute to studies.....I hope you understand the dilemma I am in as we cant be shifting our kid from one school to other after some time.....

Basically all the schools you mentioned are open till Dec-Jan. Now answering your question new age schools are still new and have to prove their worth. While traditional school have legacy around in their results both in studies and extra curriculars. So considering your dillema I will suggest go for an established school which has proven its worth.

Aditya, like most of the parents we are also confused and trying to find an answer, not all but few of the 'new age schools' really look impressive and have been there for around 8-10 years, but then why is there so much of hue and cry about the dps/ amity type, only brand name, academics with moderate fees or do they have something more?
