Hi Kamaljeet,
Would you be please able to elaborate on the Extra curricular activities in Amity V 6 you were mentioning about? It would be really helpful to us,if you are okay can you share your number,me/my wife would like to speak to you
Thanks in advance!
Hi Hemant
I will actually have to list out the activities, with regular dance , singing, recitation, poster making and all, they specifically have a spell-bee activity (which is of from international curriculum), tribal mask making, a very enthusiasitic vasudha rounds are there among amity schools (which are later taken to higher levels) wherein students are encouraged to innovate in any way they want be it science, art or any language. they even pay attention to linguistic development by celebrating week long activities devoted to poets. They have their in-grown reporting talents which report, edit and compile news for Amity's own newspaper. Many more to list, which include international language learning and they even have exchange programs with other countries.
I am impressed, hope this may help you.
Regards
Hi Kamaljeet,
Just wanted to know, in Amity do children get a lot of project work which is above their level of age and understanding and they are solely for parents?
Hi Shruti
I have not faced this as of yet. I also heard it when we were about to take admission, but none of them proved true till now.
Regards
Hi kamaljeet. What class is your ward studying in Amity. I recently met a friend of mine who had shifted her daughter from Amity Noida to DPS Noida because of the sudden increase in the curriculum with unrealistic projects at Amity. Please share your experience in detail.
Hi Ruchika
My daughter is in Nursery in Amity vasundhara, But I have a opposite knowledge from yours, one of my colleague had her wards one in Amity and one DPSI and she shifted the one from DPSI to Amity. I dnt know may be its a persoanl perspective, and depends upon how you would deal with variuos situations. For eg. a person like me would be happy to see my ward indulging in various activities for overall development. So its more of personal choice.
Though I strongly believe that all the schools are doing their best as they all need to survive in this hard competition, so its not just that we are facing the challenges, the schools also face that, then only they will be able to keep up their name (maybe for namesake only) and its just marginal difference among most of the schools and that difference comes when we discuss that on a common platform and is more of a personal perception that we make out of our expectations.
Overall I am extremely satisfied.
Regards
Thanks kamaljeet and I agree with you that it's personal perspective. Shall like to add that it's also kid-dependent, in that some kids are able to handle excessive curricular pressure with the help of parents while others may not. So it also depends on the time and effort we are ready to put in with our kid.
Thanks and regards
