Sorry to say...but from all above points...I could see only two valid points Near to your place and day-care facility....
rest accusation of being money minded (doesnt sound correct as they r not since most of the schools in that slot are of same expenditure, but yes less fees in FAS is quite valid, Smart classes yes Amity too have Smart classes, playground pool facilities are alike and convent school thats a methodology and a school not having it is not a disadvantage at all...
As parents you have taken a very wise decision and the money that you will save by choosing FAS over Amity can well be used for other hobby classes and activities for child, that gives you a pretty advantage!!!
Good luck!!
I never mentioned that these are the bad points in Amity ... ;-)
I only mentioned that these are the points in FAS ... I mentioned that FAS is not money-minded ... I never mentioned that AISV is money-minded ...
I mentioned that I'm depositing fees in FAS because of these reasons and will decide between AISV and FAS later on ... AISV is still high on my priority list ... just don't feel like taking decision in a haste .. :-)
Puneet
Very true we need to decide on all points calmly before this decision related to our precious pearls.
Since your comment was one to one wrt AISV and FAS, thats y I tried to put in wat I understand, so that other parents may not take it otherwise as the scenario might be a bit different!!

Sure. Thanks for your clarification and timely inputs.
It has been a real help in this journey.
Puneet,
Congrats
Its a great position to be in, admissions in 2 very good schools of NCR.
Just a thought - If you decide earlier, you will help someone get a chance to get admission & relax.
@Kamal: one query ... you mentioned that AISV-6 has smart classes ... could you please clarify if this is applicable to only higher classes .... when we visited AISV-6 classroom for filling forms .. we were taken to Nursery classrooms ... which did not seem to have any support for laptop/projectors ... got same feedback from one of our neighbours as well (daughter going to AISV-6 in Nursery) ... that no smart classes in AISV-6 ....
Also, I got the feedback that it doesn't have a swimming pool ... rather only a splash pool for small kids ...
Request you to please provide your feedback ...
@Bhanuja, thanks for writing, I can understand what you are saying, even I am not aware of the criterion of selection, however, I got a call from both of them ,went with the flow and got a seat offered. So now, its about comparing the two.
any pointers?
Darpan
Very well compiled differences...the way you have explained it, I would vote for FAS and I think you have yourself summed up everything fairly to go for this decision!!!
Regards
