Dear Parents who have their DPS Noida Interaction today,

Please let me know what happened in the DPS interaction today ? What was the process and what they asked? Is there 2nd Interaction as well?

Attended the DPS Noida interaction today morning 7:40 slot.

First, you need to pay the registraion amount Rs 1000. After then, they will give you a form to fill. It has two questions only.

1. How will you help school in developing child's creativity?

2. If teacher has been strict with you child for something and he's upset, how will you handle it?

They take the child in the classroom. There they will give the child to color something and few poems which my daughter was very happy doing. She was in the room for about 25 minutes [longest time as she is little talkative]. Then teacher called us in and said she's doing good. We were made to sit with another teacher. 

My daughter was given toffee and she said Thank you. Many different kind of activities were given to her like she was asked to identify objects on a sheet and then teacher removed the sheet and asked what pictures were there. My daughter identified the pictures but couldn't remember too many things. She remembered only 2.

She was given some blocks of colors to identify which my daughter did and then teacher asked her to replicate a design on the board with blocks which is I think a bit tough for children and depends on the mood of child as well. My daughter put the blocks in a line.

Then she showed a big picture having road, grass, water, sky and gave her different small cut pictures of objects which my daughter placed perfectly.

One last puzzle they gave where child had to draw on a maze to find the correct path which my daughter couldn't do.

Then, for second round parents are taken in group for interaction with principal where both parents need to give brief introduction of themselves.

That's all and we were free by 10:30 AM. Now hoping for the best for results which are to be declared on 26th [as per information put up on the board]

Many Thanks Anurag for sharing your experience for DSPN.

This seems quite lengthy and tricky procedure as compared to all other Noida schools.

Where at one side it is in news that child screening should be banned, on the other side DPSN is screening child so minutely and strictly.

I also have mine tomorrow and after reading the above, I have little hopes now as my child is a bit moody and may not be patient enough to continue showing her skills for that long time :-(

And on top of that, timings are extremely weird. Its too early in the morning, either the child will be sleepy or hungry and not in mood at all. DPS process sounds most complex of all. My interaction is on 24th morning and Im really tensed by now. My daughter usually wakes by 8 and the timings are just too inconvenient.
