That would indicate that Fr. Agnel is a much more sought school that Apeejay i.e. Fr. Agnel >> Apeejay? Is that the case?

Regarding Fr. Agnel's online registration method, I think their entire process was glitchy. I believe they were doing this the first time? People submitted multiple times, and I felt all that got counted. But maybe I'm wrong!

By the way, I got to know that Cambridge Indirapuram got around 1100 applications last year, and Indirapuram is a fairly dense area. So I keep feeling 1500-2000 should really be the max number of kids vying for admissions in a year. And at least 10% would be those who prefer the new age schools over the traditional schools, anyways.

So back to the original question - why the rush? Is it all a hype?

(I'm fairly frustrated having to give these *written* exams. I'm writing so much the first time after leaving college!!)

I think FAS has a heavy rush bcoz of 2 reasons: 1) Its a good school with reasonable fees 2) Its location is such that its easily approachable for noida, indirapuram and delhi residents. So it has rush from multiple places. I feel apeejay, amity would have comparatively lesses no. of applicants

Priyanka,

I would like to add more to it.....1) FAS started the admission process very early.

2) concept of limiting the number of forms...creating a hype.....and yes even duplicate forms have been counted...

Yes.. limiting the no. of forms created a panic and everybody applied in a hurry without giving it a second thought (including me). If I think about it now..the school lies very low on my list.

Sid,

i also analyzed the same thing and mentioned earlier somewhere don't get panic there are enough seats..... set/analyse what should be best for ur kid and there is no need to run behind all of them and fill many forms.

in khatain there are 10 sections with 25-30 kid almost all school, and when they publish the result they declare 400 candidates because they know that all of them will not take admissions

Hi Ragesh,

Need ur help.. I have in mind to fill up JUST these - apeejay, amity, somerville, FAS, bal bharti, khaitan & millenium. Do you think these are sufficient or I need to fill up more forms?

in My opinion thats enough.... I filled 6 forms and my kid got selected in 4 of them with the fact that he was Jan 2012 born at that time so when interviews were held he was just 2.5 years old.

so if ur kid is active enough he/she will clear as many of them.

and moreover amity and somerville will declare results earlier even when cambridge and vishwa bharti are not out with the forms.

And in millennium any how you will get admission

Ok thanks.. yes my kid is active enough.. so I will just stick to these and hope for the best :)

Have also filled up the form in Millennium, Sector-41. Personally, I liked their entire concept of imparting education and approach to learning. Looks promising.

Good enough Priyanka. Your kid will surely get selected in more than one school among these.

Does anybody have idea what's the last date of forms in BillaBong...as they are providing direct admission in nursery..we can at least block a seat for child

Hi All,

Please rank following schools, these are my options.

Father Agnel (Noida) , St Teresa (Indirapuram), St Thomas (Indirapuram) and Gurukul NH-24.

Thanks
