Whereas I believe they have not mentioned it as a mandatory requirement......but on the other side, they have a teacher specifically sitting there for kid interaction as well.....and they are carrying out a very basic interaction....
I will suggest that if its not that much of an effort, then please take your kid along with you as anyways the interaction will not be more than a 5-6 minutes affair....
Hey guys, Looking out for feedbacks for DPS Indirapuram and St. Francis Indirapuram. How are these 2 schools in regards to academics, infrastructure , extra curricular activities , student teacher ratio , teaching methods. It would help me in making a decision. Thanks.
Hey Arohi,
I'm also a newbie. But from what I've heard, St Francis focuses more on academics. DPS, on the other hand, has more extra curricular activities and better infrastructure. Not sure on student-teacher ratio, though.
Thanks
Thanks Neha :)
DPSI >St Francis

THANKS SAKSHI FOR THE REPLY
Congratulations Ankit :)
I believe you were looking out for Kothari as well..Any reason you dropped the idea of kothari? also, what made you choose millenium?
My daughter is selected for amity vasundhara sec 6 and I believe that is also a good school but since I am leaving in a rented flat so I can shift from indirapuram to any other place if I can get the best school for my daughter..I was interested in shiv nadar as well but my daughter is not eligible there,
genesis global school is quite expensive and SBS is not open for nusrsury
lotus vally - i did not see good feedback on this forum, not considering dps express way and sommervile international as amity will be better option in comparison with them
khaitan - I have applied but might not wait for its result as i need to submit admission fee in amity before 8,
DPS noida - my daughter is not eligible
sommer villey - address criteria, however i have filled the form
combridge noida - not eligible for address criteria
billabong, kothari,GIIS,millenium - i am thinking to visit these schools before 8 sep and compare them with amity, any feedback reviews will be highly appreciative...
Thanks Rupal for the wishes !!
First of all, we cannot compare Amity with billabong, kothari, millennium and others as Amity is strictly a traditional school with too much focus on academics. There is too much stress all through on kids and I have seen it myself.
Now, frankly speaking I do not have any first hand info on Billabong so I would rather not comment on it.
I have visited Kothari, GIIS and Millennium and researched a lot about them from both school and parents. As per my analysis, Kothari has excellent infra and is very good for junior classes but some parents that I met raised doubts over the teaching staff in senior classes. GIIS was very good too but has a relatively small space as compared to Kothari. Parents were positive about the school but did not get any feedback on the senior classes. Also, currently it is till Class IX only. Millennium has a small campus but is shifting to a big campus from the next session in Sec-119. Was very impressed with their teaching staff, principal, the unique learning methodology they offer and of course their smart classes (managed by Educomp, pioneer in the field of education). Also, teacher student ratio is favorable till higher classes. Got very positive feeling about the school.
This has to be my most preferred and like-minded answer in this forum till now :) I visited GIIS with my wife and instantly disliked it because of the very small space it is built in. Even the rooms like the music room, library etc. were very small. Almost no green area or playground to speak of. That is why I have shortlisted The Millenium School, Billabong (my colleague's son goes there and he's very happy) and Kothari (where I have heard similar concerns as you've stated), *if* my kid does not get through a traditional *non-AC* school.
Cheers.
Thanks Ankit..that really helps...I have not been able to speak to any parent from kothari but reviews on mouthshut are not all good..For amity, I have been getting different reviews from parents..on this forum it is said again and again that amity focuses more on academics, but when I discussed with at least 4 parents in my office, they all have been very happy about amity in terms of over all development. yes, they accept that amity focuses more on academics but at the same time they advocate about extra activities as well at amity
