Thanks Nuresery admission portal for guidance & thanks all parents for thier comments. Thanks Sakshi.

Best of Luck.

I came across this school ' Rotary Public School' in Gurgaon. I've seen the campus from outside on my way to work and from their website it looks decent.. Pls suggest if its worth the time?

I'd rather send my daughter to a catholic school in gurgaon.. any leads?

Apeejay School Noida or Amity International Noida. Please advise which one is best..!! my son has been selected in Apeejay and shortlisted for second round in Amity , which is better ??

I would go for Amity as compared to Apeejay.

Hi,

As the admissions are drawing to a close, just like to share my observations. First of all this forum has been very helpful and would like to thank the moderators and parents for interacting.

We have applied in FAS Vaishali, Cambridge Indrp., DSPG Vas, Amity Vas Sec 6, St. Teresa. FASV still pending rest all done interactions.

Interactions were smooth at all the schools except St. Teresa - St. Teresa's interaction process was so idiotic - they called in the morning at 9:00 and we left school at 12:15 pm - It was obvious that they were doing it just to show the crowd to the parents that were there - whereas all the process could have been completed easily in 30-45 minutes worse case.

One thing which we found strange was parents are ready to send their children to very far off schools - for us the distance is one of the top priorities (of course given that the schools are of some reputation). We are not sure but how do 3 year old kids manage sitting 30-45 mintues in the bus? Don't you guys think that distance is an issue for small kids ?

Next, guys please don't worry about what questions will be asked during interaction - do you seriously think that the answers that you give matters - point is that you cannot 'prepare' for questions - its not a job interview - they just see your/kids overall personality/outlook - something that you cannot change. So just be cool and be yourself - no fuss.

About document - we didn't find any schools being too fussy about 1 missing doc - if you don't have it you can submit it the next time.

Also, dont be paranoid about the results not showing online - when will I get the next date - whether we'll be shortlisted , when will we be shortlisted etc. As already mentioned in the forum - there are so many good schools around with enough seats and your kid will get admitted in one of them. I dont think there is a huge difference in schools anyways - I think what you teach at home (how to learn, how to be curious) will be much more important that what she learns at school (assuming school has some reputation and not obviously too bad). I cleared my iit entrance - and frankly speaking school didn't have a big role in it - it was the curiosity to learn which helped me and one good teacher (outside school) - who created that spark.

Our daughter got selected in St. Teresa, Amity Sec 6 (result updated today - interaction was on 2nd Sep), waiting for Cambridge. DPSGV will be out on 15 Sep.

All the best to parents! Be Cool.
