That is one way to put it. Another theory that a colleague who's daughter got selected in Somerville last year is that Somerville does not want too many kids on their school bus route since they have very few buses (5 only?).

My daughter got selected in LVIS.It seems they have seats available as they have 12 sections in nursery and more than 300 seats.We had interaction yesterday and they had created a very friendly atmosphere.Principal interacted in the same activity room and she was very friendly with Parents as well as kids..Teachers and coordinators also were very cooperative and encouraging..

My friends have kids studying there and they are happy with the school and teachers.I will stop exploring further.

DD needs to be in Fr. Agnel School, Noida in this name. Details are mentioned in the pamphlet school gave at the time of interaction.

Hi sakshi, really a nice discussion forum u have started.....from all the discussions/ feedback received in this grp i have felt that FAS noida is highly sought after school for most of the parents of noida/ ghaziabad. can u please throw some light on exactly what makes it better from other schools...

FAS is run of the mill traditional convent school. The hype is more in this group. I asked the principal of the playschool where my daughter is going about FAS but whatever little I could make out, she did not have much positive to say about the school. Maybe because of the fee structure it is sought after because if seems to be value for money school.

Hi Ravi,

I dont think any parent will prioritise money over their child's future. Firstly it is not a convent school as convent schools are those that are run by Nuns.However logically any school that your child attends and performs well is good.

I have a relative going to Amity Noida and does not suggest it due to deteriorating infrastructure and senior teacher's leaving the school. Hence you would always have some negative feedback for each school.

A lot of parents want their kids to go renowned schools for to maintain a social standing.

With regards to Fr.Agnel the discipline and mannerism taught in christian schools is far better as compared to other schools. Academics depends on your kid as well. Not all kids are same.
