Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2026-27

There is one teacher in the Principal's office and the kid is asked to sit next to her. They are not fussy if the kid wants to sit with the mother/father. They allow 1 parent to sit with the kid if the kid insists. Then the child is asked for his name first and then to recite a nursery rhymn. He is then given a picture book where he/she needs to identify the picture. My child was shown the picture of Umbrella to which he responded 'Chatta' (in hindi ;) ) . He was asked to identify brinjal to which he responded 'baigan' ; again in hindi. He was then asked where he tomato on the page which he pointed out correctly.

From the parents, the principal asked about their professional life. From me as a mother, she asked about my office routine and nature of work, my office timings, where do we stay, who takes care of the child when we are in office and why Somerville.

We had our interaction on 2nd Sept. but not yet recieved any call yet.

Just wanted to share an important information regarding Cambridge Indirapuarm.....may be this can be of some help for parents who are still trying to get their child place in one of the good schools..................

Based on some parents information receiving sms, I did visited school in person and came to encounter that they have come up with second list of shortlisted candidates (around 63 candidates), but most of this is on basis of applications that parent submitted for consideration against any vacant seats after first list was displayed. Out of the applications submitted, they have come up with the second list and sending sms to parents.

Today also there were few parents who did submitted the application for consideration at reception with guard. But I did afford to meet with their admin department and submitted the application in person. But now since they are already out with 2nd list, chances are less in terms of number of students they would finalize for third list, but yes any parents in need may try their luck. Admin personnel did told me to enquire about the final outcomes for third list or applciation status somewhere around 25 of this month.

Hope this information may be of some use for parents............please visit the school and have the application submitted for consideration against vacant seat if you are interested in Cambridge Indirpauram and wanted to give another try!

I have although submitted application, but would not be able to wait till 25th since I have almost decided to go ahead with DPSGV and submit fees by their last date (i:e 18th).

Hi Sandeep,

Not sure as to why they gave this reason. My son is already selected in FAS noida and neither me nor my husband approached CSI.

CSI has total 140 seats and their 1st list only had 136 shortlisted candidates.

Other parents who have received SMS please confirm if anyone of you had approached CSi to reconsider.

They did not directly mentioned this reason. But yes few parents reached over there said that they gave application for consideration and is now finally called for admission and few were there to check the status and they did submitted application but not received any sms.

Actually I also though initially to give application after first list but though once their last date of admission crosses will reach out to them. But when few parents received sms yesterday, I was eager to know the criterion. I did called up school and they told to meet in person for the same.

I personally know few parents who did not block their seats in Cambridge Indirapuram even they got selected............so may be that they are left with more than expected seats vacant this time. And over and above all, schools do not have any fixed criterion.

Anyhow, whole admission process without any common regulatory and rules is going on complex year by year.............

Even i had not submitted any application in CSI post 5th Sept ( when 1st list was out).

In fact i can confirm you about 1 more child who had been selected in Amity beforehand only ( but his parents received an SMS yesterday).

Don't know why the school gave you this reason

Sorry for late reply.. 1st interaction - To start with , i didn't felt comfortable frankly , but it may be because of some mismanagement in hadling 2 batches in signle day , but then it goes all well. Scholl teachers took children to nursery classes to have interaction with children & parents were asked to go to Auditorium where Principal Mam given nice introuction about school . Her focus was also on new DPS school that is opened in Ghaziabad , Merrut road.

We asked our child & she was very comfortable..
