Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2025-26

Even I am moving to Noida Extension from March but if my son clears DPS Noida, I will happily send him to that school. I understand that distance is an issue, but I don't think it should be the only criteria. After all, if he gains something more by travelling a few kilo-meters extra, we should be fine with it. As such there is no good school near Noida Extension, the closes being GIIS (7.4 kms) or Billabong (9.5 kms). Somerville would be 12. I would suggest you go for Somerville because if you want a solid academics background. Also, the school works on a five-days format, I guess, so it won't be as hectic as you think. My other suggestion would be Billabong, it's good. If my son doesn't clear DPSN, he is going to Billabong.

Dear Parents,

My son had interaction in DPS Noida on 23 September morning. The status on the buzzyears website is still showing as 'shorted listed for interaction'.Also I have not received any mail yet

Please confirm if other parents who had interaction on 23 Sep, have got confirmation through mail or their notification status has changed on website. Also have they declared the final results or is their any hope of getting confirmation late.

I know few parents whose interaction was on 23rd and there children got selected for admission.You shld wait for a day or two ,or contact school.

It seems that every other child is going to DPSI or Amity only on this forum..No other discussion is going on...

can someone please tell me that between Jaipuria and St. thomas which one is better ?

I don't think so...what u said that St Thomas is better than Jaipuria..you r wrong...at first meet parents of Jaipuria school whose kids are there and then judge..

Look, Sujita! This was only my perspective. People may have different opinions. I'm not asking you to agree with me. I was only going by the positives and negatives of both the schools highlighted on this forum.

Hi all,

Today after research for 2 mths,i closed my son's admission with GIIS noida even my son got selected for "As quoted as best schools in noida" such as Amity,APJ and Fr agnel.

On the fallowing basis i made my selection:

· Individual attention

· Distance

· Good academics(as per their curriculum) and understanding of the concepts between teachers and their own innovative ideas to teach kids and informal assessment starts in 1st std to understand kids weakness

· Teachers and principal are approachable

· Parents ideas are invited and many more...good feedback from existing parents

· Weekly (day wise) and monthly planning is given to parents so that they get insyn with school working methods.

· Special classes meant for weaker kids to match with the competition ahead

· Concept based learning not mugging required for competition and street smartness

· Brain analysis as their methodology that "APPLE IS NOT RED...IT HAS MANY COLOURS" and kids brains has many ideologies on single concept

· Assessment of kids on each lesson may it be ex-heat.....all scores on his understanding and projects which kids does on it

· Individual scoring on sports-a separate edu sports cards for each kid..sports as per his strengths and age

· Comparing on functions done by students not teachers from class 1st...so equal participation

· CBSE curriculum

I have made this analysis on the basis of my son';s nursery needs..i understand this school is new in Noida but has years of experience abroad and a process oriented school management by the teams of professionals and no big personality gives his name to any school like Narayan Murthi and many other (he is not a Bollywood actor) that he don't understand the credibility of his name

Come on people use your brains to get best for your kid with some priority pointers which you think is important for kid's future...make him smart learner coz topper is not enough in coming generation but smartness in concepts, confidence and identification of interests in life will make him a successful human being...so DPS or Amity or etc etc is not the end in life..Once admitted in DPS then your responsibility gets over ...no dear

Now your responsibility will increase as your kid grows up...coz parents and home environment is very important for kid’s personality and of-course school and parents are the building blocks for a kid

Actually this is Indian mentality that the basket which is on upper floor which we cant see has better fruits than the basket which is approachable and can be seen properly...ASK yourself a question why you want to go to that school coz........... and if you satisfies yourself (as you are best person to decide for your kid) with the answer then please go ahead.
