REGISTRATION FOR PRE-SCHOOL (2023-2024)

Parents/ Guardians are expected to read the following information before filling the form:

1. 1. Total Seats are : 40 : Open Seats are 32 ( Normally 20 seats for male and 20 seats for female),
   2. Age: The child should be less than 4 years as on 31st March,2023.
   3. No reservation for EWS category as per the decision of the Honorable High Court of Delhi on Minority Institution.
   4. Only Practicing Roman Catholic candidates registered under Prasad Nagar Parish Zone and the regular confirmed staff ward of St. Michael’s Sr. Sec. School, 3, Pusa Road, will have First preference in admission. Next preference will be given to other Practicing Christian denomination candidates within 0 to 5 km distance from the school. For all Christian denominations including Catholics both the Parents should be practicing Christians to avail the points under Christian category. The remaining seats will be allotted for the general category. The following points system is used for the selection.
      1. Practicing Christian Minority - 40 Points(residing within 0 to 5 Km from the school)
      2. Neighborhood policy - 30 Points (All Distance by road from the school) 
         (upto 5 Km - 30 Points) (Above 5 Km till 8 Km — 25 Points) (Beyond 8Km - 20 Points)
      3. Alumini - 20 Points
      4. Sibling - 10 Points
   5. Short — listing will be done according to the above mentioned point system. There will be No Test or Interview of the Candidates.Both the Parents of the short listed candidates will be called for a limited interaction to verify the documents. Catholic and Christian Parents are expected to know basic Catechism to prove that they are practicing Christians.
   6. List of the selected candidates will be displayed only on the School website on 20/01/2023 at 5.00 pm.
   7. School will not provide any transport facility to the students, it is the responsibility of the Parents to arrange safe transport facility to their ward.
   8. Every year to meet the standard establishment cost, the school fees may go upto 10 to 15%.
   9. Incomplete and erroneous/false information shall lead to automatic cancellation without intimation to the Parents and the school may take legal action and will not compromise with such applicants.
   10. Admission related disputes if any will be settled only within the jurisdiction of Delhi. School doesn't entertain any mediators/agents making false promises for admission. The School management will not be held responsible for any such dealings. If anything of such sought happens/become aware or it then,kindly report the matter to the Principal(Ph. 8826855133, 011-25712106)
   11. Hard copy of the on-line filled in Application Form along with self attested Photocopies of the following relevant documents to be dropped in the Drop Box available at the school Gate from 5th December to 23rd December, 2022 (between 8.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.).
       1. 1. Date of Birth Certificate issued by the Municipal Corporation or Local self Government. (Apart from Birth Certificate a copy of Baptism Certificate and a letter from the Parish Priest is must for Christian Candidates)
          2. Proof of Residence (Voter ID/Adhaar Card/ Driving License)
          3. Proof for Sibling (Front and Back side of Sibling Student ID card)
          4. Aadhar Card copy of the child – Compulsory
          5. Printout of Online payment proof – Registration Fee of Rs. 25

• All admission is subject to availability of seats.

• Online registration form for admission is available on the school website

• A student who has qualified for admission will be required to produce the necessary certificates and pay the prescribed fees, within three days of the offer of admission.

• All admission will be provisional until the prescribed fees and certificates are deposited.

• Admission fee paid at the time of admission (including provisional admission) will not be refunded for any reason.

• A pupil will not be allowed to attend classes without submitting the documents listed below and the prescribed fees.

 

Documents needed at the time of admission:

• An attested copy of the Birth Certificate issued by the Municipal Cooperation.

• Proof of residence  (Aadhar card, Passport, MTNL/Electricity bill)

• School Leaving Certificate (in original) for Class II onwards, duly countersigned by the Education

       Officer, if the school is situated outside Delhi.

                                                                                      ADMISSION TO CLASS- I (ONE)

 

• To be eligible for admission to Class I, the child should have completed 5 years 6 months (five-and-a half years) as on 31.03.2023

• Seats are equally divided between girls and boys.

• Seats are also reserved for children with Special needs & for children from economically challenged backgrounds.

 

                                                                   REGISTRATION FORM FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2023-24

 

• The registration form will be available from 1.12.2022 to 23.12.2022 at the school office between 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and  online.............................................

• Duly filled in application form along with the relevant documents should be submitted to the school office before 23.12.2022.

• First cut off list will be displayed on 20.01.2023 on the school notice board.

• The cost of registration form under the general category is Rs 25/-.
