ADMISSION CRITERIA
Admission to Pre-School (Nursery) is open to all eligible children without any
discrimination of caste, creed, colour, sex, religion or nationality.

1. AGE ELIGIBILITY – The Child should be 3 years + as on 31st March 2023, but
less than 4 years of age as on 31st March 2023.
2. 100 POINT SCALE –
(i) Residence Location – 60 Points Maximum
Every child will be awarded between 00 to 60 points depending on the Ariel
distance of his/her residence from the School as per the following categories:

(c) Above 5 Kms, upto 8 Kms 20

(ii) Sibling – 20 Points –
If one or more sibling of the child is/are studying in this School, he/she shall
be awarded 20 points.
(iii) School Alumni – 20 Points Maximum –
A child will be awarded 20 points if both father and mother are alumni.
In case either parent is alumnus/alumna, 10 points will be awarded to the
child.
A Final List of Children selected for admission will be drawn in order of merit which
will be arrived at after adding all the points secured by each child according to the
terms and conditions set out in paras (i) to (iii) above.
In case there are more children scoring similar total than the seats available, the
selection will be made on the basis of draw of lots in the presence of parents.

1. Admission form is available online only.
2. You must have the following documents/information at the time of applying as these are mandatory for
filling the form.
 Recent Colour passport size photo of the child (in jpg/jpeg format).
 The dimensions of the photo must be 100*80 pixels and the digital size of each photo must beless than 20KB.Background of the photo should be white in colour.
 Valid Email ID and phone number.
 Before filling the form please read all instructions carefully including the criteria of the school.
3. Fill in the particulars of the child (i.e. Name, parents name and date of birth correctly) in the online registration form. The date of birth, name of the applicant, father’s and mother’s name filled in the form must tally with the one recorded in the birth certificate of the child. 4. If any applicant is found to have fabricated /false information, registration will be rejected and it will not be considered for admission.
5. Those who fill up more than one form for a candidate all the forms will be rejected.
6. Print the form and acknowledgement receipt generated by the system once the form is submitted successfully.

Submit the hard copy of form with acknowledgement slip and supporting documents,
along with Rs 25/- in the school office between 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM from 01/12/2022 to 23/12/2022 on working days. 7. Note down the username and password on the acknowledgement receipt for your future reference. 8. School will not provide transport facility to Pre-school children.
9. For distance calculation, it is mandatory to choose the location from the suggestions only.(Google map by road)
10. Last date of submission of form is on 23-12-2022 by 1:00 PM ONLY.
11. Any action to influence the admission procedure will go against the candidate concerned.
12. The school does not accept any donations for admission. Parents should beware of third parties making false claims of procuring admission and collecting money on behalf of the school. If they enter into any transaction with such parties, they will be doing so at their own risk and the school shall not be responsible for it. The school will appreciate to know if there is any person or persons so that proper
legal action can be taken against them.
13. The age relaxation for admission of upto 30 days may be granted at the level of head of school in the upper age limit for these classes. The parents may approach the Head of School/Principal for seeking age relaxation through a manual application.
14. No telephonic enquiry about admissions will be entertained.

d) Only religious minority (Christian) Membership Letter from the concerned Church and no

Note: Changes if any will be applicable as per the specifications by the Directorate of Education, Govt. of

II. In case the vacancy remains unfilled, students residing within 1 to 3 kms ofthe school shall be admitted.

IV. Students residing beyond 6 kms shall be admitted only in case vacancies remain unfilled even after considering all the students within 6 kms area.
If seats in the above category remain unfilled the same will be treated as general
category and admission to these seats will be on the basis of draw of lots.
No EWS/DG Category for Minority Schools.

Admission Open For Class LKG.

Application Forms are available Online Only.

Candidates born between 1st April 2019 to 31st March 2020 are applicable to fill the form. Minimum age should be less than 4 Years as on 31st March, 2023.

The Online Registration Fee is Rs. 25 to be paid online.

Without Payment, the form shall not be accepted.

Filling the Registration Form and Payment of Registration Fee does not guarantee the admission in the school.

All the feilds are mandatory to be filled. Incomplete form will result in rejection.

Documents Required During the Admission Interaction:

Birth Certificate issued by Municipal Corporation / Tehsil / Gram Panchayat.

Proof of Residence –Ration Card issued in the name of parents including Child’s name / Domicile certificate of child or his/her Parents / Domicile certificate of child or his/her parents / Voter Identity Card of either parents / Recent Electricity bill/MTNL Bill /Water Bill /Passport in the name of child or parents / Aadhaar Card/ UID card in name of child or parents (No documents other than the above mentioned will be considered as a proof of residence)

In the case of Christian, Baptism certificate by the respective Parish Priest.

Orthodox Christian students shall submit Parish/ Vicar ' Certificate.

Those parents who are applying under different categories will be considered admission in that specific or particular category only, not in any other category (i.e. if parent applies under Staff quota will not be considered under Open seat)
Incomplete application forms will be rejected.

Online Registration Process:

Open the website and click on Online Registration.

Once you submit the form, it will redirect you to the payment page where you have to pay a Registration Fee of Rs. 25.

You will get a Registration Number along with a copy of the filled Registration Form. This will complete the registration process.

Only shortlisted applicants will be invited for verification of documents. Based or points acquired in criteria will be invited for the verification of documents and offered admission in order of points.

At the time of verification of documents applicants will be required to bring original documents for verification and self attested photocopies for submission.

In case the number of applicants with the same points is more than the number of seats, a draw of lots will be conducted.

If your name is in the shortlist ,you will be required to visit the school for verification of documents on the given date and time.

Incomplete forms will be rejected.

Forms can be submitted online from 01-12-2022 and payment of Rs. 25 can also be done online. Or those parents who are unable to make the payment online, can take the printout of filled in form received on their email and submit the same at St. Gregorios School, Sector-11, Dwarka, along with Registration fee of Rs.25/- cash (application cost). Applications can be submitted or collected only on working days at Dwarka School between 9:00 a.m to 1:30p.m. Last date for submission of application form is 23.12.2022.

Admission Information for Pre-School Class (Nursery) 2023-2024 Policy, Categories, Criteria and Procedures The Admission policy reflects the general ethos and philosophy of the Springdales Schools run by the Springdales Education Society (Estd. 1956). The schools are inter-generational, and promote inclusivity, integration and heterogeneity. They impart a wholesome education, which develops in all Springdalians Good Citizenship, Social responsibility and multi-faceted Talent. For Admission to the 170 seats in the entry class for Pusa Road, 2023-24 CATEGORY SEATS PERCENTAGE 1. EWS /DG / CWSN Category 42 25% For the remaining 75% the categories will be : 2. General Category 85 50% 3. Staff Childrens' Category 9 5% 4. Management Quota 34 20% 170 100% 1. EWS / DG/CWSN CATEGORY : The admission under this EWS / DG Category and CWSN for 25% of the total seats will be allocated by the Directorate of Education under the Delhi Government. No application under this category will be accepted by hand/post/e-mail or any other means by the school. The School is NOT a Special School but follows a policy of integrating CWSN into Mainstream Education. 2. GENERAL CATEGORY : For this category there will be 85 seats available which will be 50% of the total seats for this class. The Criteria for selection of these children will be in accordance with the guidelines given by the Directorate of Education. The whole process will be fair and rational, non-discriminatory, transparent and child-friendly. Admission is based on the information given by the parents and should be backed by authentic proof and documents. Kindly note that the information regarding parents' professions and educational qualifications will NOT form a part of the admission criteria but Will only be used for the school database. Admission for the General Category of students will be based on the criteria for which points will be given to ensure a rational and fair result. The list of selected and non-selected candidates will be placed on the School website showing the points secured. If there is a tie in the points for the remaining seats, a Random Selection in the form of a Draw of Lots will be conducted to finalise these seats. The Waiting Lists generated after the Draw of Lots will be updated from time to time as withdrawals may take place. 3. STAFF CATEGORY Children of Staff : Only permanent and confirmed members of Staff are considered for the admission of their children. Grandchildren of Staff members who have attained Superannuation in Springdales will also be eligible. (will be admitted upto a maximum of 5% seats under Staff Category) Grandchildren of retired staff will be considered as fee-paying students. As per the Circular of Directorate of Education Dated: 26-11-2018 Sl. No.6 of admission criteria. "The ward of Staff/Employees of any school concerned can have a right for admission to that school but extending the same benefits to the sister concern of that particular school will curtail the right of General Parent's wards." As per the clause quoted above only confirmed and permanent staff members with children / grandchildren can apply in the branch of the school where they have served / are serving. The application will be rejected if applied to the other branch. Any staff seats un-availed at the time of closure of admission will be transferred to the General category. POINTS ALLOCATED UNDER CRITERIA The points will be generated automatically, but are subject to verification 1) Residence Criteria (maximum 39 points) : Those APPLICANTS who live in areas which are specified in the registration form will get 39 points. Those applicants not living in areas mentioned in the form will get 29 points. 2) Sibling Criteria (35 points) : Parents must give proof of new entrant being a real sibling of the child already studying in the school. There will be no points given in the Sibling Criteria if the older Sibling is in Springdales School, Dhaula Kuan. Cousins are not eligible under this category. Irrespective of the branch of the first child, NO Inter Unit transfer will be allowed at any stage. 3) Alumni Criteria (maximum 26 points) Former students who have been in the school for 11 years & above and have a Character Certificate will get 26 points.
