Kindly read the instructions given below very carefully:

1) Age criteria : The child born between 1.3.2019 to 30.04.2020 are eligible for Pre School Admission.
2) Fill the form in Capital letters only.
3) Online Registration will be done through the school website – https://khms.ac.in
4) Payment will be made ONLINE.
5) Keep your details of Debit Card/Credit Card/Net banking ready for online payment of Rs. 25/- as the registration amount
6) In the case of a single parent, the entire information of the parent is to be repeated in both columns.
7) Fill up the form completely before taking a printout. In case of incomplete form/documents, the application will be deemed as rejected.
8) Print out of the filled registration form, duly signed by the parent, must be dropped in the box placed at the Senior School gate (no.2), along with self-attested photocopies of the supporting documents.
9) The Last date of online submission of the Registration form for pre-school is 23-12-2022
10) The Last date to drop the Registration form along with the required documents at the school counter is 23-12-2022.
11) After registering your email id, please wait for 5 minutes to receive Password on mobile phone.
12) If the payment process is not completed successfully due to any reason, proceed again using the same e-mail Id & password.
13) Kindly keep the photographs in SOFT copy ready for uploading while filling the form. (Applicant’s, Father’s and Mother’s photograph). The size of the photograph should not exceed 200 KB and should not be less than 50KB.

ADMISSION CRITERIA
Admission to Pre-School (Nursery) is open to all eligible children without any
discrimination of caste, creed, colour, sex, religion or nationality.


1. AGE ELIGIBILITY – The Child should be 3 years + as on 31st March 2023, but
less than 4 years of age as on 31st March 2023.
2. 100 POINT SCALE –
(i) Residence Location – 60 Points Maximum
Every child will be awarded between 00 to 60 points depending on the Ariel
distance of his/her residence from the School as per the following categories:

(a) 0 – 3 Kms 60
(b) Above 3 Kms, upto 5 Kms 40
(c) Above 5 Kms, upto 8 Kms 20
(d) Above 8 Kms 00
(ii) Sibling – 20 Points –
If one or more sibling of the child is/are studying in this School, he/she shall
be awarded 20 points.
(iii) School Alumni – 20 Points Maximum –
A child will be awarded 20 points if both father and mother are alumni.
In case either parent is alumnus/alumna, 10 points will be awarded to the
child.
A Final List of Children selected for admission will be drawn in order of merit which
will be arrived at after adding all the points secured by each child according to the
terms and conditions set out in paras (i) to (iii) above.
In case there are more children scoring similar total than the seats available, the
selection will be made on the basis of draw of lots in the presence of parents.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Age Eligibility Criteria – The child should be born between 01.04.2019 and 31.03.2020 to be
eligible for admission to the Pre School Class. Any parent seeking age relaxation upto 30 days i.e.,
born between 01.03.2019 and 31.03.2019 or 01.04.2020 and 30.04.2020 in respect of his ward
may approach the Principal/HOS for seeking exemption through a manual application for his

1. Admission form is available online only.
2. You must have the following documents/information at the time of applying as these are mandatory for
filling the form.
 Recent Colour passport size photo of the child (in jpg/jpeg format).
 The dimensions of the photo must be 100*80 pixels and the digital size of each photo must beless than 20KB.Background of the photo should be white in colour.
 Valid Email ID and phone number.
 Before filling the form please read all instructions carefully including the criteria of the school.
3. Fill in the particulars of the child (i.e. Name, parents name and date of birth correctly) in the online registration form. The date of birth, name of the applicant, father’s and mother’s name filled in the form must tally with the one recorded in the birth certificate of the child. 4. If any applicant is found to have fabricated /false information, registration will be rejected and it will not be considered for admission.
5. Those who fill up more than one form for a candidate all the forms will be rejected.
6. Print the form and acknowledgement receipt generated by the system once the form is submitted successfully.

Submit the hard copy of form with acknowledgement slip and supporting documents,
along with Rs 25/- in the school office between 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM from 01/12/2022 to 23/12/2022 on working days. 7. Note down the username and password on the acknowledgement receipt for your future reference. 8. School will not provide transport facility to Pre-school children.

Online Registration Process:

Open the website and click on Online Registration.

Once you submit the form, it will redirect you to the payment page where you have to pay a Registration Fee of Rs. 25.

You will get a Registration Number along with a copy of the filled Registration Form. This will complete the registration process.

Only shortlisted applicants will be invited for verification of documents. Based or points acquired in criteria will be invited for the verification of documents and offered admission in order of points.

At the time of verification of documents applicants will be required to bring original documents for verification and self attested photocopies for submission.

1. EWS / DG/CWSN CATEGORY :

The admission under this EWS / DG Category and CWSN for 25% of the total seats will be allocated by the Directorate of Education under the Delhi Government.

  1. No application under this category will be accepted by hand/post/e-mail or any other means by the school.
  2. The School is NOT a Special School but follows a policy of integrating CWSN into Mainstream Education.

2. GENERAL CATEGORY :

For this category there will be 85 seats available which will be 50% of the total seats for this class.

The Criteria for selection of these children will be in accordance with the guidelines given by the Directorate of Education.

  1. The whole process will be fair and rational, non-discriminatory, transparent and child-friendly.
  2. Admission is based on the information given by the parents and should be backed by authentic proof and documents.
  3. Kindly note that the information regarding parents' professions and educational qualifications will NOT form a part of the admission criteria but Will only be used for the school database.
  4. Admission for the General Category of students will be based on the criteria for which points will be given to ensure a rational and fair result. The list of selected and non-selected candidates will be placed on the School website showing the points secured.
  5. If there is a tie in the points for the remaining seats, a Random Selection in the form of a Draw of Lots will be conducted to finalise these seats.
  6. The Waiting Lists generated after the Draw of Lots will be updated from time to time as withdrawals may take place.

3. STAFF CATEGORY

Children of Staff :

Only permanent and confirmed members of Staff are considered for the admission of their children. Grandchildren of Staff members who have attained Superannuation in Springdales will also be eligible.
(will be admitted upto a maximum of 5% seats under Staff Category)

    1. Grandchildren of retired staff will be considered as fee-paying students.
    2. As per the Circular of Directorate of Education Dated: 26-11-2018 Sl. No.6 of admission criteria.

"The ward of Staff/Employees of any school concerned can have a right for admission to that school but extending the same benefits to the sister concern of that particular school will curtail the right of General Parent's wards."

POINTS ALLOCATED UNDER CRITERIA

1) Residence Criteria (maximum 39 points) :

  1. Those APPLICANTS who live in areas which are specified in the registration form will get 39 points.
  2. Those applicants not living in areas mentioned in the form will get 29 points.

2) Sibling Criteria (35 points) :

  1. Parents must give proof of new entrant being a real sibling of the child already studying in the school.
  2. There will be no points given in the Sibling Criteria if the older Sibling is in Springdales School, Dhaula Kuan.
  3. Cousins are not eligible under this category.
  4. Irrespective of the branch of the first child, NO Inter Unit transfer will be allowed at any stage.

3) Alumni Criteria (maximum 26 points)

  1. Former students who have been in the school for 11 years & above and have a Character Certificate will get 26 points. (Kindly attach a copy of the Character Certificate)
  2. Former students who have been in the school for 5 years upto 10 years will get 16 points. (Kindly attach a copy of the Mark-sheet of Class X and School Leaving Certificate).
  3. Former students, who have been in the school for less than 5 years and have become a member of the Old Springdalian Association, will get 11 points. (Kindly attach a copy of the Character Certificate and copy of OSA Membership Card)

ALL PARENTS KINDLY NOTE THE FOLLOWING BEFORE FILLING THE FORM

  1. Forms will be available ONLINE ONLY from Thursday, 1st December, 2022, 8.30 a.m. onwards on the school website.
  2. As per the Circular No.F.DE15(172)/PSB/2016/9483-9492 dated: 21.11.2022, age relaxation upto 30 days may be granted at the level of Heads of Schools in the minimum and upper age limit for this class. However, it is clarified that any parents seeking age relaxation in respect of their ward, may approach the concerned school Principal/ HoS for seeking the exemption through a manual application for consideration along with their application at the time of deposit.
  3. Apply only for ONE branch (Dhaula Kuan /Pusa Road).The admission software will automatically REJECT the form if filled for more than one branch.
  4. After submission of the form online, a printout of the same is to be deposited in school, along with the copies of relevant documents and payment receipt of registration fee of Rs. 25/-. The recent photographs of the parents and the child are to be affixed on the form. The documents will be verified for authenticity.
