Please read the following information carefully before applying

 

Policy, Categories, Criteria and Procedures

The Admission policy reflects the general ethos and philosophy of the Springdales Schools run by the Springdales Education Society (Estd. 1956). The schools are inter-generational, and promote inclusivity, integration and heterogeneity. They impart a wholesome education, which develops in all Springdalians Good Citizenship, Social responsibility and multi-faceted Talent. The school motto “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam – The World is a Family” permeates the entire curriculum and elucidates its commitment to an integrated secular India and a peaceful and a socially just world.

The Management, Staff, Alumni and Parents share a collective vision and mutual purpose in this education so that the students may fruitfully contribute to wider society and address the realities and concerns of our country and of the world.

Springdales has a clear DIVERSITY POLICY in place, which is reflective of the Constitutional goals of our Nation. We believe in the intrinsic right of every child to receive good quality education, therefore children of Economically Weaker Sections of society are admitted through the Delhi Government/ Directorate of Education into our schools.

We have therefore formulated the following Categories, which are in consonance with the School Policy and the guidelines of the RTE Act (2009).

1. EWS / DG/CWSN CATEGORY :

The admission under this EWS / DG Category and CWSN for 25% of the total seats will be allocated by the Directorate of Education under the Delhi Government.

 

  1. No application under this category will be accepted by hand/post/e-mail or any other means by the school.
  2. The School is NOT a Special School but follows a policy of integrating CWSN into Mainstream Education.

 

2. GENERAL CATEGORY :

For this category there will be 68 seats available which will be 50% of the total seats for this class.

The Criteria for selection of these children will be in accordance with the guidelines given by the Directorate of Education.

 

  1. The whole process will be fair and rational, non-discriminatory, transparent and child-friendly.
  2. Admission is based on the information given by the parents and should be backed by authentic proof and documents.
  3. Kindly note that the information regarding parents’ professions and educational qualifications will NOT form a part of the admission criteria but Will only be used for the school database.
  4. Admission for the General Category of students will be based on the criteria for which points will be given to ensure a rational and fair result. The list of selected and non-selected candidates will be placed on the School website showing the points secured.
  5. If there is a tie in the points for the remaining seats, a Random Selection in the form of a Draw of Lots will be conducted to finalise these seats.
  6. The Waiting Lists generated after the Draw of Lots will be updated from time to time as withdrawals may take place.

3. STAFF CATEGORY

Children of Staff :

Only permanent and confirmed members of Staff are considered for the admission of their children. Grandchildren of Staff members who have attained Superannuation in Springdales will also be eligible.
(will be admitted upto a maximum of 5% seats under Staff Category)

    1. Grandchildren of retired staff will be considered as fee-paying students.
    2. As per the Circular of Directorate of Education Dated: 26-11-2018 Sl. No.6 of admission criteria.

“The ward of Staff/Employees of any school concerned can have a right for admission to that school but extending the same benefits to the sister concern of that particular school will curtail the right of General Parent’s wards.”

  1. As per the clause quoted above

only confirmed and permanent staff members

  1. with children / grandchildren can apply in the branch of the school where they have served / are serving. The application will be rejected if applied to the other branch.
  1. Any staff seats un-availed at the time of closure of admission will be transferred to the General category.

 

POINTS ALLOCATED UNDER CRITERIA

The points will be generated automatically, but are subject to verification

1) Residence Criteria (maximum 39 points) :

  1. Those APPLICANTS who live in areas which are specified in the registration form will get 39 points.
  2. Those applicants not living in areas mentioned in the form will get 29 points.

2) Sibling Criteria (35 points) :

  1. Parents must give proof of new entrant being a real sibling of the child already studying in the school.
  2. There will be no points given in the Sibling Criteria if the older Sibling is in Springdales School, Pusa Road.
  3. Cousins are not eligible under this category.
  4. Irrespective of the branch of the first child, NO Inter Unit transfer will be allowed at any stage.

3) Alumni Criteria (maximum 26 points)

  1. Former students who have been in the school for 11 years & above and have a Character Certificate will get 26 points. (Kindly attach a copy of the Character Certificate)
  2. Former students who have been in the school for 5 years upto 10 years will get 16 points. (Kindly attach a copy of the Mark-sheet of Class X and School Leaving Certificate).
  3. Former students, who have been in the school for less than 5 years and have become a member of the Old Springdalian Association, will get 11 points. (Kindly attach a copy of the Character Certificate and copy of OSA Membership Card)

ALL PARENTS KINDLY NOTE THE FOLLOWING BEFORE FILLING THE FORM

  1. Forms will be available ONLINE ONLY from Thursday, 1st December, 2022, 8.30 a.m. onwards on the school website.
  2. As per the Circular No.F.DE15(172)/PSB/2016/9483-9492 dated: 21.11.2022, age relaxation upto 30 days may be granted at the level of Heads of Schools in the minimum and upper age limit for this class. However, it is clarified that any parents seeking age relaxation in respect of their ward, may approach the concerned school Principal/ HoS for seeking the exemption through a manual application for consideration along with their application at the time of deposit.
  3. Apply only for ONE branch (Dhaula Kuan /Pusa Road).The admission software will automatically REJECT the form if filled for more than one branch.
  4. After submission of the form online, a printout of the same is to be deposited in school, along with the copies of relevant documents and payment receipt of registration fee of Rs. 25/-. The recent photographs of the parents and the child are to be affixed on the form. The documents will be verified for authenticity.
  5. If the hard copy of the form duly filled is not submitted at Springdales School, Dhaula Kuan, the online form will be disqualified.
    Parents seeking admission in Springdales School, Dhaula Kuan should deposit the forms at Springdales School, Dhaula Kuan only.
  6. Kindly note: The points calculated on the registration form submitted online are subject to verification.
  7. Registration Fee of Rs. 25/- is to be paid ONLINE ONLY.
  8. Submit the HARD COPY of the form along with the attached Online Payment Receipt in the drop box placed at Gate Number-2, with the guard and collect the duly stamped acknowledgement receipt.
  • INCOMPLETE FORMS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR ADMISSION

  Online Registration Process

Read the instructions carefully.
✽ Online Application Form will be available on the Vidyalaya's website: www.spvdelhi.org.
Fill the form and submit online only. It will be registered after an online payment of Rs. 25.
✽ You will get a Registration Number along with a copy of filled Application Form. This will complete the registration process.
Shortlisted candidates would be invited for verification of documents.
An applicant will be required to visit the Vidyalaya for verification of documents. Shortlisted candidates to note date and appointment for verification of documents on the Vidyalaya's Website as well as on the notice board on 4th January, 2023.

  General Instructions

✽ Registration for admission to Pre-School will be done for children born between 1st March, 2019 and 31st March, 2020.
Please note that registration of the Application Form does not entitle or guarantee admission to an applicant.
✽ Since there are limited seats available, all applicants cannot be accommodated. Only parents of shortlisted applicants will be called to verify the claims made in the admission form and thereafter offered admission depending on number of seats in the category and number of points secured.
Shortlisted candidate will have to bring original documents for verification at the time interaction/verification of documents and admission CAN BE DENIED IF DOCUMENTS ARE NOT VERIFIED.
✽ For Neighbourhood Criteria: Both parents will be required to submit at least one document each from the mentioned two groups (Only one address proof required in the case of Single Parent)
Group I : Passport/Voter ID (one document from this group - as proof of identity)
Group II : Currently active utility bill for the three months or a current bank statement giving address. (One document for this group - as proof of residence)
Applicants will be shortlisted based on the points acquired in the admission criteria and will be offered admission in order of points. In case the number of applicants with the same points is more than the number of seats, a draw of lots will be conducted.
NO TELEPHONIC OR PERSONAL INQUIRIES WILL BE ENTERTAINED REGARDING THE STATUS OF ANY APPLICATION.
✽ Sardar Patel Vidyalaya is a Co- Educational Institution and, as a part of its philosophy, shall endeavour to maintain gender parity.
✽Admission will be valid only if the applicable fees and charges are paid in full by the prescribed date, together with necessary documents/certificates and on completion of all other required formalities.
✽ Offer of admission does not mean an automatic allocation / availability of seat in the School Bus. Bus facility is subject to availability of seats in the particular bus. Requests for relocation of a Bus Stop or extension/diversion of the bus route will NOT be entertained.
✽ Every year, the Vidyalaya receives more applications than the number of seats available. Therefore, if an applicant is unable to secure a seat, it is in no way a reflection of his/her calibre.
✽ In any matter regarding admission, its process or the formalities, the decision of the Vidyalaya will be final.

Please note that NO OTHER communication in the form of a letter, e-mail, SMS or telephone call will be used for intimation to any individuals.

  Application Process

Consists of the following Stages:

Stage 1: Filling-up Registration of Application Form online

✽After clicking on "I Accept and Submit" Button, applicants have to pay Registration Fee an amount of Rs. 25. After that system will generate a Receipt along with Registration Form and will email the same to you at your registered Email ID.

Stage 2: Verification Process.
LIST OF SELF ATTESTED DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED WITH THE ONLINE FORM ONLY.

Shortlisted candidate will have to bring original documents for verification at the time interaction/verification of documents and admission CAN BE DENIED IF DOCUMENTS ARE NOT VERIFIED.

✽ For Neighbourhood Criteria: Both parents will be required to submit at least one document each from the following two groups (Only one address proof required in the case of Single Parent)

Group I : Passport/Voter ID (one document from this group - as proof of identity)
Group II : Currently active utility bill for the three months or a current bank statement giving address. (One document for this group - as proof of residence)

✽Applicants shortlisted for verification of documents are not guaranteed the right to Admission.

✽ In case an Alumnus, Board Mark sheet of class X/XII and proof of having studied in the Vidyalaya for a minimum of four years is required.
✽ Proof in support of claim made for Gujarati and/or Sibling or 'Inclusive Education' category.
✽ Proof / supporting documents for any other claim(s) made in the Application Form. Kindly bring the original documents for verification and self-attested photocopies duly for submission.

As per the DOE circular, age relaxation for admission to Pre-School 2023-24 of up to 30 days has been considered for children born between 1st March 2019 and 31st March 2019. This age relaxation is at the discretion of the Head of School.

Admission for Class 1 to Class 10

Admission to each year group depends on a vacancy. There are a limited number of children and three sections to each class. Application for admission need to be sent to admissions@vasantvalley.edu.in

All applications are kept on record for three months.

A Fresh application needs to be sent to reiterate your interest, if you do not hear from the school office in three months time. No form needs to be filled at the time of application. In case of children with special needs, the above procedure is to be followed. Admission is dependent on a vacancy in the relevant year group.

The Managing Committee of the School hereby approves the following criteria and schedule for the admission to Pre-School for the Academic Session 2023-24.

  • Second list of candidates (if any) will be displayed on 06.02.2023.
  • Admission process to be over in all respects by 17.03.2022.

  • Alumni should be registered student of the school alumni (Old Student Association) and passed Class-XII from the Pitampura unit. Alumni members to contact school office for alumni registration.
  • Pre-School classes will be held in the Maulana Azad Campus.

  • Age of the child as on 31.3.2023 should be 3+ years (i.e. born between 01.04.2019 and 31.03.2020)
  • Please visit the school website before filling up the form for a detailed information about the school.
All the parents are requested to fill the Pre-School Admission form from the school website only at https://bbpspp.balbharati.org

 

  • Incomplete or incorrect application shall be rejected.
  • All the fields marked with * are mandatory and must be filled.
  • The payment mode is ONLINE only.
  • Please retain the Transaction Id, Receipt and the Copy of the form for any further correspondence.
  • Children residing beyond 8 kms shall be admitted only in case vacancies remain unfilled after considering all the students within 8 kms.
  • The distance shall be measured from the school’s main gate no. 1 to your residence address using google maps aerial distance. (Sample attached). Any discrepancy in the distance shall lead to cancellation of the application form/admission.
  • Please note that the Pre-School classes shall be conducted during the session in the Nursery school building located in Maulana Azad Society. The children shall move to the main campus in Pre Primary.
  • Proof of Residence shall be any of the following documents: (Please note that the residence address should be same as in the documents mentioned here under. Either of the documents MUST be available with the parent at the time of verification of documents, for admission purpose)

 

  1. Aadhaar Card / UID Card in the name of parents and child *
  2. Voter I-Card in the name of any of the parents *
  3. Electricity Bill in the name of any of the parents
  4. Water Bill in the name of any of the parents

Important Note:

The Payment will be made through ONLINE ONLY.
  • Incomplete/Incorrect/Duplicate Registration forms will be rejected.
  • Do not use symbols like -/ or ‘ or “ : or Etc. while filling the form online as these symbols cannot be accepted by the software.
  • Kindly fill the application form carefully.

Guidelines for filling the Online Registration form and processing of payment.

1. Age of candidate should be 3+ as on 31-03-2023 but not more than 4 years 1 month

2. Fill the form in CAPITAL letters only.

3. Form can be filled only once by one particular e-mail id / mobile number.

4. No prospectus will be sold.

5. Keep details of your Debit Card/Credit Card/Net banking ready for online payment of Rs. 25/- as the registration amount.

6. After registering your mobile number / email- id please wait for the OTP to receive the login password.

7. Fill the form carefully. Avoid duplication. Multiple forms will be rejected automatically.

8. To print the online submitted form for deposition, please login again with your registered mobile number / email-id.

9. Print out of the filled registration form along with the supporting documents, duly signed by both the parents , must be submitted at Gate No. 3. The drop box facility would be available till 23rd December, 2022 4:00 p.m.

10. Physical submission of Online Registration Form is compulsory.

11. Last date for online registration & deposition is 23rd December, 2022.

12. All communication would be made at the applicant’s mobile no. provided in the form.

13. Registration form filled during Trial Period/ before the date specified by the DOE i.e. 1st December, 2022 will be rejected/not considered for admission.
