Yash, just bcoz of age criteria and basically the process of admission has been started from August but class will start on April, 2015 at that time she will be 3+ years(touch wood)...!!

But still waiting for your suggestion about 2nd interaction call...??

I agree with Anil. My daughter is also 2 yrs 7 months as of now but since the session starts nearly 7 months later, i don't see any harm applying for the session she actually belongs to.

Hi, Yash (and others) - Do you anything to share that can help for the second round at DPS? and at Amity Sec-6? We're scheduled to appear there on Friday and monday but have no idea what the second interaction (technically it's the first 1-1 session with the school) is all about.

Hello Banish

The interaction at Amity will be very casual, like headmistress and Principal will meet you and the kid in the same room will be interacting with another teacher...very minor things like colours and shapes are asked and sometimes just a informal talk with baby and that too in your presence nothing hidden.

On the other side the senior ladies will ask you how you spend time with your kid, how you pacify your kid when irritated...some simple parental questions.

Nothing to be worried about or prepare for...Just take off the load and be free...surely your team (you both and your baby) will make it through...

Actually my kid just completed 3 and i find him really small for formal school... so when i saw age of Anil's daughter i asked that question any ways here the reply of your query

Banish dont worry.. they just ask general question, why our school? how  you(father) spent time with kids.. in DPS

In Amity same thing with parents with kids they check colour, rhymes animal names and shapes

My daughter can read out the albhabets/numbers/popular animals and 1 or 2 half-completed rhymes :)

But she has no idea about the color/shapes. I hope that alone shouldn't create a trouble?

We faced same issue last year with khaitan public school and my kid did not replied any question teacher asked. and I did not received any call also.

Vivek,

The age criteria for Ryan Int Noida for Nursery is 3 and half years as on 31st March 2015.

and for Pre - nursery it is 2 and half years as on 31st March 2015.

You'll have to go to the school to get the form.
