As per my understanding.

One time charges for DPS is 66k and Amity - 23 K 

Every year Development charges  - 20 K for DPS, Amity 29 K

Per Qua tor fee -  18.5 K Some where For DPS , Somewhere around 17.5 K for Amity.

I've done exact calculations based on 2015-16 proposed fees of both schools ...

Puneet as per my knowledge amity annual charges includes study material but dpsi takes extra charges for books which r not included in annual charges

Yaa 500 per month diff is there but that is not too much

And a difference of more than Rs 12000 in annual fees every year ... which calculates to another Rs 1000 per month ...

Parents..

Both Amity-V and DPSI are equally good school overall. some point are more +ve in Amity-V and some in DPSI. So decision should be based on - distance, sibling[major factor].

Fee wise both are almost at same level, if you can pay 6000/- a month then you can also play 6500/- in a month.

No Puneet thats what I m saying dps take extra charges for books and uniform that is 10000 and amity doesnt ...this is what I have heard from parents...me also tryi g for both so plz confirm this

As pointed out by Yash, DPS-I takes around Rs 4000 for books ... 

They might charge extra for uniform but so would Amity ... no section of existing Amity fee breakup covers uniform ... so this will definitely be additional ... 

Want to highlight one point ... we have only be shortlisted for AISV-6 and would be sending our son to AISV-6 ... we didn't make it to the second round of DPS-I ...

All this analysis is just out of curiousity and nothing else ....   ;-)

Hi Puneet,

Can you post the fee breakup for AISV-6? Where did you get the information? Have you already submitted the fees? I've not been able to find the breakup from their website. Also how much of it is refundable in case admission is cancelled?

Btw, my twins also got selected for AISV-6. Thanks everyone for your help. I was just wondering whether to let it go for DPSGV or not.
