Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2025-26

Sakshi, my earlier question remain unanswered properly. Therfore, request you to help me with the below:
WE are residing with my parents in sec 12 noida, and having following documents but with my pre marriage sirname, will that be considered for nursery admission:

Airtel bill
Rent Agreement
Driving Licence

But my other document is with my post marriage sirname and address, so as u mentioned in reply before, cant use passport, marriage certificate copy, electricity bill etc.

Please advice, what all to provide for nursery admissoin as address proof. And if ill provide my pre marriage docs, how to justify to school abt post marriage sirname of my kid..

1 Airtell bill anyone can get so the purpose of school is defeated

BSNL old bill might help ( pre marriage name wont help)

It is school specific and i dont want give wrong suggestions

just follow this - every school has different policy but u can see some common docs accepted by all

@Nidhi...my wild guess it should not be a problem but still you can clarify with school authorities...you can submit Airtel Bill / Rent Agreement / Driving License / Electricity Bill / BSNL Bill, all are acceptable...for child's birth certificate please make sure it was duly attested from any A grade gazetted officer (Notary attestation not acceptable), photograph of the child and parents should be very recent one, clear and formal dressed...you will get all the list of necessary documents to be enclosed in the form itself when it is due to be published on 19th Aug...hope this helps..best of luck.

i am working in IT co in sector 135.. will this help?
m v keen on somerville school.. do they accept.. voter id as address proof?
what abt driving licence..
and also, even if they wil accept the driving licence, or voter id etc ..but how wud i can justify, the pre marriage sirname and my kid sirname to school? pls help

i dont think different surnames shud b a problem.

I chose not to change my surname after marriage and my daughter bears my husband's surname, hence we have different surnames. This was accepted for my daughter's passport also, y shud a school object.

Surname prb comes when you apply from mothers address proof or docs else no issues

Nidhi..its the same case with me too.. by law we are allowed to retain our maiden name. So school should not have a problem. Even our marriage certificate was made with different surnames.
