Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2025-26

Somerville is quite disciplined but as of what I got to know, it has negligible focus on extra curricular. Amity.. focus on academics and extra curricular too. Apeejay is good too but it seems it's not able to live upto its name and expectations from past few years.

Hello Sakshi,

Thanks for keeping up the great work through this portal, at the time of our scheduled appointment my son was hospitalized so me along with my husband went to the admission coordinator to request her for the date change as the child will not be able to attend the interaction. She instead asked us to attend the interaction stating that the child is not required and we had a very good interaction with the panel. There was some mis-communication between the panel and the coordinator as the panel asked us for the kid.

Now the status says that " the second list will be out on 15th Oct ".

Please suggest what should we do at this point of time regarding this.

vinay that means that although FAS noida had selected you then also u were selected for vaishali too..... that's quite strange

Yes. I live in Vaishali. I thought there is no point into going 2KM one side extra for the same franchise. FAS Vaishali has same staff got transffered from Noida to Vaishali. I wouldn't need my ward to take school transport, too. We can pick up and drop by our own. One of my friend's son has been studying there and they are quiet happy.

Ok. Got through Amity, Noida also. Even though we gave a very ordinary interview. So I'm in a dilemma now - APJ or Amity? I don't know a single person who says APJ >= Amity. But no one gives a reason why :(

We are choosing Amity over Apeejay, reason:

1) no. of students in class around 35 in amity and 50+ in apeejay

2) overall feedback from parents of students in amity and apeejay

3) feedback from this forum

4) infrastructure

What are the timings of Amity school for Nursery/KG classes? Do they change it in Winters also?

8 to 12 I think.. no change in winter timings.

One more points i got to know from a parent .. In nursery.. Amity divides sections age wise. So I think a 3 yr old and 4 yr old will not be put together initially. I think this is a very gud thought bcoz at this age, a 3 yr old differs a lot from a 3.5 yr old.

Thanks Priyanka. Can you elaborate a bit more on Infrastructure? If infrastructure means swimming pool, playing field, basketball court etc., I thought both had the same. In fact, since APJ has fewer students, the students should get a better chnace to avail these facilities!

I do agree with the students per class thing. That is a big plus. Especially when I've heard that APJ does not have enough maids for the nursery section.

The truth is I'd like to have Amity for the first few classes, and then APJ in the later class. But we can't have everything, can we? :)
