Pooja , please try to bargain with ur daily sleeping hours for one day, ensure the child goes to bed little early than usual ..its natural for kids to be sleepy around that time ( mine did yawn few times but cant help it ..but thats how it is with kids :) )

Shilpi , you wont realise its that lengthy cos it happens that ways .. Just carry stuff what ur child likes to keep him happy all along ..(be it food or choc or some toy )

my god...! why are they expecting so much from a small child? every child has his / her moods... my son isnt feeling too well too.. i doubt he will be in the best of spirits tomm.. there goes dps...!!!

Adding to what Anurag mentioned above , my daughter was asked to color a flower , bead the string , pattern making , color identification , odd one out , concept of transport , what goes together ( needle with thread ) , people who help us ( teacher with books ; tailor with sewing machine .. and few more ) and one rhyme .

Fortunately my daughter did all things efficiently but yes its little exhaustive for kids .

We were all done by 10.30 post brief introduction with Principal .

Thanks for this wonderful insight. Just one quick question to you and other parents, did you see any parent attending it alone - I mean either mother or father. Do they consider such cases? My husband is in US on a work trip and will be back only next week and my interaction is on 24th. I can either ask for extension (highly unlikely that they would agree) or attend it alone with my daughter.
