Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2026-27

waiting for sommerville courier like hell....My daughter is March 12 born and we did not admit her last year to any school just for these so called good schools like FAS,Sommerville,DPSN,VBPS ...FAS -we have already flunked inspite of residing in sector -62....fingers crossed...i have very little options this year..DPS no chance i know...Vishwa Bharti is the last one to come out....No choice but to look for international schools :(

Any suggessions Sakshi/Latha and Team...I need suggessions ..

Hi Deepti,

I, along with my wife and daughter, went there for the interaction on 28th. First of all, it's a mess out there - they call all the parents and the kids to report at the same time and the reception hall is already so humid that you keep sweating while you're waiting there (no AC). You'll have to wait for your turn and might have to wait for a long time depending on your registration no. ( I guess), so plan for at least couple of hours rather more. Now the process:

Firstly they handed over a 4 page questionnaire to all the parents where:

1. they asked about the child in objective type questions (close to 10 questions) - can she tell or recollect her address, how do you rate your child in intelligence, what is she good at, what would you prefer - renowned school or school that imparts good education....

2. then they asked general subjective questions like

- what do you mean by quality education

- do you think parents and teachers should work hand in hand and if yes, why?

- how much and how do you spend time with your child

- what do you do when the child does not listen to you

- around 8-10 questions on these lines

While we were filling up this questionnaire, they were taking the kids inside for the interaction (2-3 kids at a time). After handing back the questionnaire, we were asked to wait for the parent's interaction. When our turn came, we went inside a room where a group of 5-6 people were waiting for us including the school's Directors. They started asking questions:

- why did you name your kid Amaira?

- describe her in 3 words (asked both of us separately - father and mother)

- we told them that she is very inquisitive and they the quesiton followed: how do you handle her un-ending questions

- what do you like and dislike about her (to both of us separately)

- some unforgettable moments since her birth - to both of us again

- which school is she attending currently (mother's pride), which branch

- are we happy with the pre-school

- why st. teresa

- couple of questions more and then they told us that the list will be out on Monday after 10AM and one of us must visit the school to check the list. If we are shortlisted then we will be given 2 days to get our child admitted.

Today, I did not go to the school but tried calling them first to check if they can tell us the result on the phone itself and surprisingly they did after asking for her registration no.

My daughter got selected but we are not planning to admit her there.

Can you please confirm the age criteria for Cambridge Noida , I checked the link provided but there is nothing mentioned on it.

Also the POA they mentioned as below, so cant they accept Rent Agreement ?

Proof of residential address [Passport/ Lease Deed/ Electricity Bill/ MTNL Telephone Bill/ Electoral Card/Aadhar Card/Driving Licence]

Age criteria is specified on their form:

(Must be between 01/04/2012 and 31/03/2013)

I had the same confusion, I called to school and they confirmed Rent Agreement will be accepted.
