hey sakshi,
which school is better khaitan, cambridge or bal bharti noida
Pranshu
Academics wise
Cambridge >=BB>Khaitan
Khaitan better in activities
Hi Pranshu,
I know a lady who is teacher in Khaitan and my niece is in Cambridge. After discussion with both I came to know that the curriculum in Khaitan is very good.
Cambridge follow tradiitional way of exams where 2 Unit Tests then half yearly. Again 2 Unit Tests and Final exams.
2 chapters per subject are covered in each UT but the half yearly will have say 8 chapters (4 from UT + 4 new)
But in Khaitan they have 4 UT and 4 exams where number of chapters are in sync.
For a nursery student this is not considerable topic but after 3rd or 4th class when formal assessment starts then this becomes important.
Overall development wise both schools sound similar. You can prioritize depending upon the distance from your location.
Thanks for your feedback Shilpi
but two points are confusing
1 As per parents getting admission is Khaitan is easy and open till march then why Cambridge is more sought after
2 Most of the parents feedback Khaitan focus on overall development but as per you Cambridge and Khaitan at par.
please try to take some more inputs and post here
Regards
Hi Sapna,
May be because Cambridge is quite old school in Noida and comparatively Khaitan is quite new. And may be 12th result wise Khaitan is yet to prove its position. But as per parents of kids studying in Khaitan, they are very happy and satisfied with Khaitan.
Also, I have myself seen few class mates of my niece studying in Cambridge who have moved to other schools after class 8th as they are not satisfied with the teachers and level of extra studies given to students w.r.t their 10/12th boards + entrance exams.
However I personally feel that for every child proper focus at home is very much required as alone any school can not help your child to excel. If you and your child are focused then every school is equally good.
Every parent has different views about this whole study pattern & types of schools good for their kids. :-)
Hi Sapna,
Is it true that khaitan admission is open throughout the year?
Can anyone please compare Khaitan and Ryan (academics wise) ? Sakshi ?
Nimit
see above comment
Ryan has mixed reviews
Hi Sakshi,
My son is selected in FAS,Apj and Amity but i selected Millenium as i want my kid to be happy and basic learner with new age concepts of learning as fallowed by western countries.I want him to go to home next door and learn things.(Might be we shift to US in next 1 yr-but not sure)
i want his basic concepts to be very clear and academically nicely brought up.
Do i am taking a right decision????
Please advise as i need it badly
Priyanka
If you are planning to shift to US then you should pu in IB or IGCSE curriculum
else its ok no worries
