Hi All,

I was just wondering.. why cant all these schools do their admission process how so ever they want to.. but declare their final results (with waiting list) on a single day. This way the parents will deposit the fees only at the school they want for their child and no confusion at all. This way no seats would need to be blocked and the schools would also be having an accurate info on the seats being filled up.

Alas.. if schools can think above their commercial interests... for a better purpose.. for the benefit of all...

The schools can never make our lives so simple :)

I agree completely. It will save our hard earned money which they charge for cancellation.

Hi,

I have applied in DPS Noida for my son although I stay at Indirapuram. Is there any chance of my son getting shortlisted given the distance?

can anyone share from past experience from people known to them?

Is transpory facility avaialble from dps noida to supertech icon

Hi All

If anyone get chance to get admission in both the schools DPS Noida and Amity International School Noida..Which one he/she should choose and why?

Which school is better in both academic & co-curricular activities? Please answer keeping in mind for education till 12th std.

@ Manisha...From what I hear and have been seeing the trend...people prefer DPS Noida over Amity Noida.

@ Abhishek....DPS Ghaziabad Anyday !!! Only if its not too far off say 10-15 kms from your place..because personally I feel thats too much distance for nursery kids.

Hi Arohi,

Thanks for your suggestion! I totally concur with you, distance to the school was my only concern with DPSG otherwise I would choose it any day.

DPSG is little far off say around 8-9 kms but we plan to provide her pick and drop for at least first couple of years so I think that should be fine.

Hi Abhishek,

First of all congratulation.

Thanks for sharing ur thought I am facing the same problem . Khaitan and dlf is so near to my my residence. And the distance to DPSG is 9 km. As per your discrption you are residing in Rajender Nagar or Shalimar garden. But I prefer DPSG over dlf and khaitan.
Tomorrow I have a interaction for pre nursery. Can u please share your experience and the whole process what they ask how much time it will take to complete the process.

Hi Devender,

Thanks a lot! I stay at Rajendra Nagar.

We had the interaction for Nursery on 7th Sept and were called at 09:30AM. They had called the parents and their kids in groups of 20. There were 3 rounds of interaction - first they gave us a questionnaire to fill up and while we did that, they took away the kid for the interaction in a separate section. We had to submit the filled questionnaire back to the reception desk. This was followed by the 2nd round which was conducted by a coordinator with the parents and the kid, this was done in the ascending order of the S.No. of that group. Then we were asked to sit in a big hall according to the S.no. mentioned on the chairs. All 20 set of parents and kids sat together in that hall and Principal came for the 3rd round. At first she told us about the school and what makes them unique and then she asked us to introduce ourselves one by one and tell them about the quality of our kid and optionally why we want our kid to join DPSG. The whole process took around 3 hours.

Hope this helps and all the best for your interaction tomorrow.

Cheers!
