Gaurav,
The admission process in all the international schools is very simple for that matter , they ask you to bring the child for interaction and based on his mood at that point of time they ask him a couple questions and thats about it.
Hi Shipra,
Thanks you very much for the information.
Regards,
Gaurav
Nandini
See if tachers are behaving badly with kids infront of us.... then think wen they will teach them
and we know our kids they need time to understand and mood is also a factor
And also how can u expect so much from 3year old....sometimes they are in mood to do sometimes not
see how much aggression they will face from teachers....
Hats off to International school atleast they have courtesy to behave properly with parents and kids....
exactly ashima...
i had heard so much about the school... and my husband himself is a dps alumnus from bhilai... we were quite schocked at the way all of us were treated... i had quite high hopes that dps would be diff... probably later on they might be beter with the regular academics.. but my only point is if you cant treat so many parents with respect then dont go in for so many applications... had it not been for this forum i wdnt have even known that we have to pay 1000 rs.. we werent informed from their side about this... all the other necessary documents wrre mentioned....
everybody has a diff way to look into it.. probably i wasnt impressed by the long interview... in the gp round we too had some people who marvelled on the school... not our cup of tea...
Hi Nandini, for the interaction did they ask for the photocopy of the Birth certificate to be signed by Gazetted officer (As earlier asked for on their website)?
Poor me..I was the first one in GP round and just gave a brief introduction of myself and my husband (A DPS Alumunus, presently abroad) and the principal said "That's it".
If only I had read the first line of prospectus given. She revels in praise. :)
Anupama I would say its shud be sufficient ; yesterday we saw parents speaking about their complete family tree ; every bit detail , sorry to say but they seemed like mugged up every bit of it ( and to add misery both mother and father repeated same details in their intro ). Its OK to flaunt but there should be right platform for that .. For us principal said "brief intro" and we stuck to it ..
So dont feel sorry for missing out on few lines :)
Hi Anupama,
Just a quick query. Did you attend the interaction alone? My husband is also traveling out of country and I need to attend the interaction on 24th. Do they insist on having both the parents present.
Yes..They put my case in pending till My husband comes back for introduction session in a school he spent 12 years in. and mind you its not even an interview or interaction but a plain 30 secs introduction.. :)
I told her he would be back only by december to which she said the session would start only in April. Its alright with me as DPSN is not my choice but if you are keen insist on a web session.
This is natural. Where there is a BRAND then thodi Akaad to aa hi jati hai.. :)
Ideally all the Schools are same. Pros & Cons are like two sides of a coin. Every school have the both sides.
I think Schools wants a "born with Golden Spoon" child.
They want Savant from the beginning But ideally they should work on average students to convert them into Scholars.
absolutely true the teachers at DPS Indirapuram are also worst because their attitude and behaviour towards smalL children was pathetic Anju sharma at DPS Indirapuram is pathetic not way to talk to parents they forget they are getting salary from parents pocket .
I can never recommend DPS to anyone
