 Is Aadhar card also required for nursery admission in Delhi?

Schools ask for parents Aadhaar card.

Aadhaar of child is not mandatory as per Hon' SC but we suggest parents to get it made, as some school still ask for it.

REGISTRATION

•  Pre School registration Guidelines for 2021-22 will be as per Department of Education, NCT of Delhi
•  Pre Primary Registraions are invited through Online form

 

Age Eligibility

For Pre -School	Less than 04 years as on 31st March of the year in which the admission is sought.
For Pre-Primary	Less than 05 years as on 31st March of the year in which the admission is sought.

 

Registration Process

•  The form can be filled online at the payment of Rs.25/- as registration charges.
•  Kindly ensure that you generate / Collect receipt & acknowledgement for the registration form & fee paid.
• Incomplete registration form will be rejected.

List of Documents to be enclosed with the Registration Form

•  Recent coloured passport size photograph of the Child, Mother and Father duly pasted on the form in the space provided.
•  Self Attested photocopy of Date of Birth Certificate of the child.
•  Self Attested Residence Proof and photo ID of the Parent(Voter Identity card/Ration Card /Aadhar Card/Passport/MTNL/Telephone/Water Bill)
•  Self Attested copy of Aadhar Card of the child & his/her Parents.
• Self attested copy of I Card or latest Fee Receipt of MAPS Sibling/12th Class Marksheet in case of MAPS Alumni.

Instructions for filling up the Registration Form

•  Parents should read the instruction carefully before filling in the Registration Form to avoid rejection
•  Parent should filled in each entry of the form and should write NA for those entries, which are not applicable. Kindly do not leave any entry blank.
•  Incomplete form will not be accepted / entertained. No amendment in the entries in Registration Form will be acceptable.
•  Please enclose the required Attested / Self Attested along with the Registration Form as per mentioned list. Tick enclosed document in the list and fill the number of total enclosed documents.

NOTE:

•  Filling and submitting of the Registration Form does not confirm and guarantee candidate's Admission to the school.
•  Discrepancy in information in Registration Form & Documents provided at the time of Admission will lend of rejection of application for Admission.

General Category	School Specific Parameters

1. Criteria for Neighbourhood:

• Admission shall first be offered to students residing within 3 kms of the school.
• In case the vacancy remains unfilled, students residing within 3 to 6 kms of the school shall be admitted.
• Students residing beyond 6 kms shall be admitted only in case vacancies remain unfilled even after considering all the students within 6 kms area.

2: Process of Admission within Neighbourhood:

• • Out of the total applications, the school shall first give admission to all siblings and wards of staff members.
  • Then The school shall first segregate the applications having residence within the first neighbourhood range of 0 – 3 kms.
  • If the applications of sibling and staff ward category are less than the seats of General Category and if seats still remain vacant after exhausting siblings and staff ward applications, the school shall admit the students on the basis of draw of lots from the remaining applications received under the neighbourhood range 0-3 kms.
  • In case the total applications of 0-3 kms is less than the number of seats of General Category , and vacancies still remain unfilled after exhausting the applications from the distance range of 0-3 kms, the applications from the second distance range of neighbourhood of 3-6 kms shall be considered in the above manner.
  • The students residing beyond 6 kms shall be admitted only in case vacancies remain unfilled even after considering all the students within 6 kms after following the procedure as mentioned above.

A. Admission counter at the school reception :The candidates can register their names at the admission counter of the school on all working days from 18^th February, 2021 to 04^th March, 2021 between 8.30 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. on payment of Rs.25/- only.

B. School Website, www.QueensValley.in. :Registration form is also available on the school website. The form can be downloaded and the filled in form along with the required documents and a registration fee of Rs. 25/- needs to be deposited at the school counter as per the schedule given below.

• The filled in forms should be deposited in the office of the school upto 04^th March, 2021, till 1: 00 p.m. on all working days.
• The filled in application form should contain the attested photocopies of the documents as specified in the Government order.

• Ration card issued in the name of parents (Mother/Father having name of the Child).
• Domicile certificate of the child or of her parents
• Voters I-Card (EPIC) of any of the parent.
• Electricity bill/MTNL telephone bill/Water bill/
• Self-attested copy of Aadhar Card/UID/Election Card/Passport/Ration Card

Document Required for DOB:

• Self-attested photo copy of the Birth Certificate.

Document required for Sibling Case:

• Self-attested photocopy of the identity cards (both sides) or fee receipt showing the admission no. in case of sibling category.
