Registration Process

•  The form can be filled online & also be obtained from the reception at the payment of Rs.25/- as registration charges.

•  Incomplete registration form will be rejected.

•  Recent coloured passport size photograph of the Child, Mother and Father duly pasted on the form in the space provided.
•  Self Attested photocopy of Date of Birth Certificate of the child.
•  Self Attested Residence Proof and photo ID of the Parent(Voter Identity card/Ration Card /Aadhar Card/Passport/MTNL/Telephone/Water Bill)
•  Self Attested copy of Aadhar Card of the child & his/her Parents.
•  Domicile Certificate of the child or of his/her Parents.
•  Self attested copy of I Card or latest Fee Receipt of MAPS Sibling/12th Class Marksheet in case of MAPS Alumni.

Instructions for filling up the Registration Form

•  Parents should read the instruction carefully before filling in the Registration Form to avoid rejection
•  In case of Offline Application ,the form should be filled by the parent in their own handwriting using Blue /Black Colour Pen. fill up the required information in Capital Letters.
•  Parent should filled in each entry of the form and should write NA for those entries, which are not applicable. Kindly do not leave any entry blank.
•  Incomplete form will not be accepted / entertained. No amendment in the entries in Registration Form will be acceptable.
•  Please enclose the required Attested / Self Attested along with the Registration Form as per mentioned list. Tick enclosed document in the list and fill the number of total enclosed documents.
•  Parents may attach extra sheet of paper as annexure (if required).

•  Filling and submitting of the Registration Form does not confirm and guarantee candidate's Admission to the school.

3. Age Criteria:

Age         : 3 years by 31st March of the year 2020 and less than 04 years as on 31st March 2020 with a relaxation of 30 days on both sides as per DOE circular No. F.DE15()/PSB/2019/13009-014 dated 22/11/19 (Para 4,5 & 6) and subsequent circular No. F.DE15(62)/PSB/2019/13059 - 64 dated 25/11/2019.

4. Registration

Registration for the applicants under General Category will be completely Online on the school website  www.dpsrkp.net . There will be no paper form for the registration.

Important:

• There is NO FEE charged for the Online Registration.
• There are three steps of registration [Step 1] [Step 2] [Step 3 - Registration Complete]
• Registration will only be considered complete when you receive a Registration Number in Step 3.
• It is a must for the applicant to take a print out of Step 3 carrying the Registration Number on it.
• Duplicate registration will automatically amount to the cancellation of any one of the registrations of the applicant.
• Apply for admission to only one of the two Junior Schools (DPS East of Kailash OR DPS Vasant Vihar). Applications submitted in both the schools will result in the CANCELLATION of both the applications.

5. Neighbourhood Consideration

Please click on the AREA MAP for reference. However, please note that the school transport will only be provided on available routes. The school does not guarantee or commit to provide transport facility on non-existing routes.

6. Essential Documents Required

The applicants shall produce the relevant documents in original at the time of verification along with a set of SELF ATTESTED photocopies listed below as and when required by the school (Refer point 7 (iii)). Kindly note these are not required at the time of online registration.

i	FOR ALL APPLICANTS Birth Certificate issued by the Municipal Corporation with the NAME of the child mentioned on the certificate.
ii	FOR ALL APPLICANTS Proof of residence (Minimum 2 out of the following) Ration card/Smart Card issued in the name of parents (mother/father having name of the child.) Domicile certificate of child or his / her parents. Voter Identity Card /EPIC of any of the parents. Electricity Bill / MTNL Telephone Bill / Water Bill / Passport in the name of any of the parents or child. Aadhar Card / Unique Identity Card in the name of any of the parents.
iii	FOR SIBLING - A copy of the Fee Bill / RFID Card issued by the school office for the Academic Session 2019-2020.
iv	FOR ALUMNI (OF DPS RK PURAM ONLY) - A copy of the pass certificate of X / XII issued by CBSE.

• Admission to the school is subject to verification of the documents listed above, and submission of a letter of undertaking, self-attested by both the parents in front of the verification team. The undertaking should clearly certify that the information given is correct and the documents submitted are true copies of the original.

• This undertaking will also imply that the parents accept the decision of the school to cancel the registration / admission as final and binding, if at any given time any information or document submitted is found to be wrong/fake/false/incorrect.

7. Steps involved in the Admission Process for GENERAL CATEGORY:

STEP	DESCRIPTION
i	At the first instance, the names of the ‘SHORT-LISTED’ applicants who have higher value points/  above the cut-off i.e. above the points of other applicants will be put up. The ‘GENERAL Category LIST FOR DRAW OF LOTS’ (for applicants with same value points in a tie for remaining seats) will also be put up. NOTE: Criteria for Twins: In the case of twins, if one is selected the other twin will get sibling points. In a situation of draw of lots, the names of both will be considered in a single chit. Either both will be selected or both will not be considered for admission.
ii	The details and schedule (date, time & venue) of the ‘GENERAL CATEGORY DRAW OF LOTS’ will be available on the school website dpsrkp.net. Kindly note that SMS and/or Email will not be sent separately to intimate the same.  The draw will be held using a random method, in public view and with complete transparency. The date and time (schedule) for the verification of documents for applicants within the zone of consideration will be displayed on the school website within 24 hrs. of the draw of lots.   The school will not accept any request for a change of date or time of verification. Do not miss out on this opportunity.
iii	The verification process of the documents will be held in the respective Junior Schools as per the assigned date & time.   Please note -  Both the parents of the applicant must be present to submit the self-attested copies of the above listed documents and to sign the letter of undertaking in the presence of the verification team. In case, the parents of the applicant do not report for the verification of documents on the assigned date and time, their application will stand cancelled without any intimation from the school.
iv	FIRST LIST – The First List of PROVISIONALLY SELECTED CHILDREN & WAITLISTED CHILDREN will be displayed on the school website for further completion of formalities i.e. filling up of the Admission Form, submission of true copies, verification of Original Certificates, medical formalities and fee deposit.
v	SECOND LIST – After assessing the vacancies, the Second List (if any) of PROVISIONALLY SELECTED CHILDREN will be declared as per schedule. Accordingly, the positions of the waitlisted children under the GENERAL CATEGORY LIST will move up. In case of any further vacancies the 3rd, 4th, 5th lists will be declared.
vi	All admissions will close on 16th March 2020.

The Online Registration form will be available on the school website www.dpsdwarka.com from Friday, 29 November 2019(06:00 a.m.)  to Friday, 27 December 2019 (8:00 p.m.). You are advised to fill in only one form. Duplicate/ Multiple registrations will be summarily rejected. 4. Final scores will be calculated automatically by the software. 5.
