• In the sibling and alumni categories, if there are more applicants than the number of seats available, draw of lots will be conducted in the respective categories.
• All those applicants not successful in the above mentioned draw of lots, will be added to the general category.
• If in any category (sibling, alumni and staff), there are vacant seats, they will also be filled from the General Category.
• The draw of lots, if any, for the specified categories will be conducted on the same day (to be announced), and for the General Category one or two days later.
• For purposes of the draw of lots, applications for twins will be clubbed together as a single application.
• Details of the timings and dates for the draw of lots, will be announced at the school’s website (www.rsjms.com ) and eligible applicants will be welcome to be present, if they wish.
• The actual conduct of draw of lots will be recorded on video.
• The schedule to be followed will be in accordance with the guidelines of the Government.

AVAILABILITY AND SUBMISSION OF FORMS

For admission to classes at the entry level (Pre-School/Pre-Primary/ Class I), the Registration Form will be uploaded on the school website (www.rsjms.com) on Friday, 29th November, 2019 and can be viewed and filled online only till Friday, 27th December 2019. Payment of a Registration Fee (Rs. 25/-) must be made online after all relevant documents have been attached and the form submitted. An incomplete form with unfilled mandatory fields or absence of relevant documents, will be REJECTED and REGISTRATION CANCELLED. After submission of duly filled application form, a receipt with a unique Registration Number will be generated for the applicant, which can be downloaded and saved for your record.

DOCUMENTS TO BE ATTACHED WITH APPLICATION FORM:

• Self-attested photocopy of the Date of Birth Certificate of the child.
• In case of parent / grandparent being alumni, duly signed certificate from the Principal, Modern School, Barakhamba Road/Principal, Modern School, Vasant Vihar.
  [Definition of Alumni (Modernite):
  a) One who has passed Board Examination class XI prior to introduction of the 10+2 system or passed the Board Examination class X and class XII and remained on the rolls of Modern School continuously for not less than 4 years.
  b) One who has been on the rolls of Modern School continuously for not less than 8 years.]
• In case of sibling applicant, duly signed certificate from the school office.
• List of students selected for admission will be put up on Friday, 24th January 2020.
• Queries of parents regarding allotment of points to their ward in the list displayed on Friday, 24th January, 2020 can be dropped in the Drop Box placed in the School Office from Monday, 27th January 2020 till Monday, 3rd February 2020 by 11.00 am.
• Admission process will be completed by Monday, 16th March 2020.

Please read the instructions carefully before filling in the form to avoid the rejection of your form. Each form will be issued a unique Registration Number after the acceptance of the form. Kindly note the unique registration number or take a print out of the Receipt Page. This serves as a record to know the status of your application and for any further correspondence. (Please have a pen and paper ready with you as you fill the form) The registration form will refresh while it retrieves dynamic data from our database. Do not press the ENTER KEY to move from one field to another. Use the TAB KEY or the mouse control for the same. After completing the application form kindly click on the SUBMIT FORM button. To avoid rejection, DO NOT fill more than one form for one applicant. All fields are mandatory. Incomplete forms will not be accepted by the system. In case the vacancies remain unfilled, students residing within 3 KM of the school shall be admitted. If there are still vacancies, then the admission shall be offered to other' students residing within 6 KM of the institution. Students residing beyond 6 KM shall be admitted only in case vacancies -remain unfilled even after considering all the students within 6 KM area.
