1. A self attested copy of the Aadhar Card, Date of Birth certificate issued by the

2. Parents of the Christian candidates must attach a letter from their respective
Parish Priest/Pastor testifying that they are the practicing members of the
respected churches as preference will be given only to the practicing Christians.
3. Proof of Residence: Aadhar Card / Voter ID Card / Passport / Electricity
Bill. (Attach a photocopy of any one of the above mentioned documents.)
4. Proof of sibling (wherever applicable)
(Real brother/sister studying in Sahoday Sr. Sec. School) Attach a photocopy
of his/her Fee Receipt of the current academic year 2019-20.
5. Proof of Alumni (wherever applicable)
Father/Mother Ex-student of Sahoday Sr. Sec. School who have passed out
Class X/XII from Sahoday Sr. Sec. School (attach photocopies of CBSE passing
certificate/School Leaving Certificate).
6. The First List of the selected candidates including waiting list will be displayed
on the school website on or before 24 January, 2020.
7. Queries, if any regarding allotment of points to their wards in the first list
will be heard from 27.01.2020 to 03.02.2020.
8. The date for displaying the second list of candidates, if any including waiting
list will be on 12.02.2020.
9. Closure of admission process on Monday, 16 March, 2020.

PRE - SCHOOL ADMISSION CRITERIA (2020-21)

ADMISSION TO PRE-SCHOOL

1. The Application Form is available free of cost at the school reception from 08.30 am to 1.00 p.m. & on the school website round the clock. The same can be downloaded from the school website ( www.thesovereignschool.com ) and an amount of Rs. 25/- can be paid at the time of registration.
2. The child should be minimum of 3 years for admission to Pre-School and minimum of 4 years for admission to Pre-Primary as on 31st March 2020.(according to DOE norms)
3. Duly filled in Application Form should be submitted at the school Reception on or before 27th December 2019.
4. The photographs of the child and parent should be affixed at the space provided in the Application Form.
5. Duly attested photocopies of all the documents must be attached with the admission form, however original documents will be required for verification at the time of admission.
6. First list of General candidates will be displayed on the school website( www.thesovereignschool.com ) as well as the school notice board on 24-01-2020.
7. The Application Form submitted at the school reception does not entitle the candidate for admission in school unless the candidate’s name is present in the Selected Candidates List.
8. Incomplete forms are liable to be rejected. Kindly avoid any kind of cutting, fluid markings and over- writing in the form.
9. An optional transport facility is made available to the students subject to the availability of seats from any particular area. In case, school transport is not available, the parents will have to make their own arrangements. Routes charted by the school will not be changed.

. Pre-School & Pre Primary - 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon (Monday to Friday)

ADMISSION CRITERIA

ACADEMIC YEAR 2020-21

As per the guidelines given by the Directorate of Education Govt of NCT following is the Criteria for Admissions to Nursery for session 2020-21

• Out of the total applications from the first neighbourhood range of 0-1 Km, the school shall first give admission to all siblings.
• If the applications of sibling category, in neighbourhood range of 0-1 Km are in excess of the seats of general category, the draw of lots of all sibling applications (which have the residence within 1 Km), shall be conducted to admit the students against the number of available seats.
• If the applications of sibling category within 0-1 Km are less than the seats of General Category and if seats still remain vacant after exhausting sibling applications, the school shall admit the students on the basis of draw of lot from the remaining applications received under the neighbourhood range of 0-1 Km.
• In case the total applications of 0-1 Km is less than the number of seats of general category, and vacancy still remain unfilled after exhausting the application from the distance range of 0-1 Km, the application from the second distance range of neighbourhood of 1-3 Km shall be considered in the above manner.
• If vacancies still remain unfilled after exhausting the applications from the distance range of 1-3 Kms, the applications from the third distance range of neighbourhood of 3-6 Kms shall be considered in the above manner.
• Students residing beyond 6 Kms shall be admitted only in case vacancies remain unfilled even after considering all the students within 6 Kms after following the procedure as mentioned above.

St. Anthony’s Pre – Primary School is an unaided Christian Minority Institution for girls, owned by The Institute of the Franciscan Clarist Sisters of the Most Blessed Sacrament which has been running schools, orphanages, homes for senior citizens, dispensaries and other welfare centers in different parts of the country for over a century.

Since its inception the school has catered to the needs of the girls from all sections of the society especially the service class families, with a preferential option for the poor.  It ensures their all round development through all its projects & programmes, so that they grow into mature women with a strong sense of God and family, social and national responsibility and also remain deeply rooted in their own culture.

You are kindly requested to follow the instructions given below:-
1. There will be no test or interviews of the applicants or their parents.
• Preference will be given to Christian Community without prejudice to the School's Constitutional right.
• Provisions of RTE Act on admissions are not applicable to Minority Schools.

2.  Registration Form for admission to St. Anthony’s Pre-School, Hauz Khas 2020 – 21 will be available only on the school website www.stanthonyschool.in from 29 November 2019 to 27 December, 2019.

Registration Fee -  Rs. 25/-
Age limit:  Children born between 01/04/2016 to 31/03/2017.

 

3. Print out of the duly filled online registration form & Acknowledgement Slip along with all the relevant documents will be submitted by the parents to the School Officeon 20, 21, 23 & 27 December, 2019.
All documents mentioned below must be attached with the Registration Form.

Incomplete forms will automatically be rejected.
1.   Birth Certificate of the child from the Municipal Corporation with the name of the child incorporated.
2.   Baptism Certificate (for all Christians) Letter confirming membership from the Parish Priest for a Catholic and other Christians from the Pastor of the Church/Parish/Presbytery that you belong presently.       
3.  Proof of Residence (such as Electors ID Card / Electricity bill/ Water bill of residence/MTNL  Telephone Bill /Aadhar Card / Passport in the name of any of the parents or child).
4.   Two latest passport size photograph of the candidate with her parents.
5.   Proof of Alumni: Mark Sheet of Class XII (St. Anthony’s Sr. Sec. School, Hauz Khas).
6.   Proof for the siblings: Photocopy of the current year’s fee book and previous year’s report card.

Please Note:

No Recommendation letters/ Telephone call will be entertained.

The school reserves the right to reject application forms which are incomplete or with false information.

• Rent deed will not be considered as proof of residence.
• There will be no bus facility for the School students.
• Admission of EWS is not mandatory in Minority schools.
• Original Documents to be presented on the day you are called for verification/admission.
• The names of the selected candidates will be displayed on the notice board/school website on 24/01/2020 at 3:00 p.m.
