4.Essential Documents Required

The applicants shall produce the relevant documents in original at the time of verification along with a set of SELF ATTESTED photocopies listed below as and when required by the school (Refer point 5 (iii)). Kindly note these are not required at the time of online registration.

i	FOR ALL APPLICANTS Birth Certificate issued by the Municipal Corporation  (Minimum Age: 3 Years and Maximum Age: 4 Years by 31st March, 2022 as per DOE Order NO.DE.15 1031/ACT/2007/7002  Dated 24th November 2007)
ii	FOR ALL APPLICANTS Proof of residence (Minimum 2 out of the following) Ration card issued in the name of parents (mother/father having name of the child.) Domicile certificate of child or his / her parents. Voter Identity Card /EPIC of any of the parents. Electricity Bill/MTNL Telephone Bill / Water Bill/Passport in the name of any of the parents or child. Aadhar Card / Unique Identity Card of Mother / Father / Child issued by the Government of India. Rent Agreement (should be at least 6 months before the date of registration)
iii	FOR SIBLING A copy of the Fee Bill/ID Card issued by the school office
iv.	FOR TEACHER’S WARD A copy of the School ID of staff.

• Admission to the school is subject to verification of the documents listed above, and submission of a letter of undertaking, self-attested by both the parents in front of the verification team. The undertaking should clearly certify that the information given is correct and the documents submitted are true copies of the original.
• This undertaking will also imply, that the parents accept the decision of the school to cancel the registration/admission as final and binding, if at any given time the information or document submitted is found to be wrong/fake/untrue.

5. Steps involved in the Admission Process for GENERAL CATEGORY:

i	At the first instance, the names of ‘SHORTLISTED’ applicants who have higher value points i.e. List of successful candidates will be displayed. The ‘GENERAL Category LIST FOR DRAW OF LOTS’ (for applicants with same value points in a tie for remaining seats) will also be displayed. NOTE: Criteria for Twins: In case of twins if one of the twins get selected in lucky draw then the other twin will be given points on the basis of sibling and considered for admission.
ii	The details and schedule of the ‘GENERAL CATEGORY DRAW OF LOTS’ will be available on the school’s website. The draw will be held using a random method in full transparency.
iii	The verification process of the documents will be held in the School as and when intimated by the school for the applicants, whose points are within the zone of consideration. Please note, both the parents have to be present to submit self-attested copies of the above listed documents and to sign the letter of undertaking in the presence of verification team.
iv	The date of admission and submission of fee of selected candidates will be displayed on the school website for further completion of formalities i.e., filling up of the Admission Form, submission of true copies, verification of Original Certificates, medical formalities and fee deposit.
v	SECOND LIST - After assessing the vacancies, the Second List of PROVISIONALLY SELECTED candidates will be declared as per schedule. Please note, waitlisted candidates under the GENERAL CATEGORY LIST will move up as per their position. In case of any further vacancies 3rd & 4th list will be declared.

• A student who has qualified for admission will be required to produce the necessary certificates and pay the prescribed fees, within three days of the offer of admission.

• All admission will be provisional until the prescribed fees and certificates are deposited.

• The registration form will be available for the entry-level (class I) from 15.12.2021 to 07.01.2022 online and at the school office between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm.

• Duly filled in application form along with the relevant documents should be submitted to the school office before 07.01.2022.

• No form will be accepted after 07.01.2022. First cut off list will be displayed on 04.02.2022 on the school notice board.

• The cost of registration form under the general category is Rs 25/-.

10. STAFF CATEGORY: (No Points)
As per the Circular of Directorate of Education Dated: 26-11-2018 SL. No. 6 of admission criteria: ''The ward of Staff / Employees of any school concerned can have a right for admission to that school but extending the same benefits to the sister concern of that particular school will curtail the right of General Parents' wards'' As per the clause quoted above confirmed and permanent staff members with children / grandchildren can only apply in the branch of the school where they have served / are serving. The application will be rejected if applied for in any other branch. Only Children of staff members who are confirmed and permanently employed in the Institution. Grandchildren of Staff members who have attained Superannuation are also eligible. Kindly give details of employment in the school - branch, position, date of employment and years of service and an affidavit stating that the applicant is the grandchild of the staff member

PLEASE NOTE: The points calculated on the registration form submitted online are subject to verification and may change. This is an application for registration only. Those parents short-listed for verification of documents will be informed by phone/website. There will be no points given in the Sibling Criteria if the older sibling is in Springdales School, Pusa Road or is a cousin of the child seeking admission. NO inter unit transfers will be allowed at any stage. Copy of Municipal Birth Certificate, Proof of residence and other required documents are to be submitted by parents along with the form. We are happy to inform you that St. Mark’s Girls Sr. Sec. School will now be St. Mark’s World School as we open our gates for both boys and girls at the entry level with effect from the academic session 2022-23.

If DOE's approval and CBSE Board's approval for change of name is received by the school through notification , school has to publish the same in leading 2 newspapers within a week. Only then we can confirm. You can verify the notification with the school if DOE and CBSE has approved. Moreover as per the notification for change of name school should never use the old name in any records or anywhere after approval.
