4. Registration

Registration for the applicants under General Category (Open Seats) will be completely Online on the school website  www.dpsrkp.net . There will be no paper form for the registration.

Important:

• There is NO FEE charged for the Online Registration.
• There are three steps of registration [Step 1] [Step 2] [Step 3 – Registration Complete]
• Registration will only be considered complete when you receive a Registration Number in Step 3.
• It is mandatory for the applicant to take a print out of Step 3 carrying the Registration Number on it.
• There is NO NEED for physical submission of the hard copy/printout of the registration acknowledgement Slip/Registration Confirmation Page.
• Duplicate registration will automatically amount to the cancellation of any one of the registrations of the applicant.
• If your area is not mentioned/listed in the area drop down – select the location closest to your residence given in the drop down option.
• Mismatch of the area selected, and the residential address (colony) will amount to cancellation of the registration. The school cannot be held legally responsible for any such lapse made by the applicant.
• Apply for admission to only one of the two Junior Schools (DPS East of Kailash OR DPS Vasant Vihar).
• Applications submitted in both the schools will result in the CANCELLATION of both the applications.

If you are a resident of an area lying within 20 KM radii and it is not mentioned in the list, please select the nearest area shown on the map / mentioned in the list. 6. Essential Documents Required

The applicants shall submit a set of SELF ATTESTED photocopies of the documents listed below, and produce the relevant original documents for the verification of the same as and when asked by the school (Refer point 7 (iii)).

Kindly note these are not required at the time of online registration.

i	FOR ALL APPLICANTS Birth Certificate issued by the Municipal Corporation with the NAME of the child mentioned on the certificate.
ii	FOR ALL APPLICANTS Proof of residence (Minimum 2 out of the following) Ration card/Smart Card issued in the name of parents (mother/father having name of the child.) Domicile certificate of child or his / her parents. Voter Identity Card /EPIC of any of the parents. Electricity Bill / MTNL Telephone Bill / Water Bill / Passport in the name of any of the parents or child. Aadhar Card / Unique Identity Card in the name of any of the parents.
iii	FOR SIBLING – A copy of the latest Tuition Fee Deposit Receipt for the Academic Session 2021-2022.
iv	FOR ALUMNI (OF DPS RK PURAM ONLY) – A copy of the pass certificate of Class X / XII issued by CBSE.

NOTE: Only the documents, which are mentioned above in point 6 (i) to 6 (iv) would be accepted. Notarised Documents will not be accepted. Registration Slip of the Aadhar Card will not be accepted. 

LETTER OF UNDERTAKING

• Admission to the school is subject to verification of the documents listed above, and submission of a letter of undertaking, self-attested by both the parents in front of the school admission verification team. The undertaking would require you to clearly certify that the information provided is correct and the documents submitted are true copies of the original.

• This undertaking will also imply that the parents accept the decision of the school to cancel the registration / admission as final and binding, if at any given time any information or document submitted is found to be wrong/fake/false/incorrect.

7. Steps involved in the Admission Process for GENERAL CATEGORY:

i	At the first instance, the names of the ‘SHORT-LISTED’ applicants who have higher value points (above the cut-off i.e. above the points of other applicants) will be displayed on the school website – https://www.dpsrkp.net  The ‘GENERAL Category LIST FOR DRAW OF LOTS’ (for applicants with same value points in a tie for the remaining seats) will also be displayed on the school website – https://www.dpsrkp.net NOTE: Criteria for Twins: In the case of twins, if one is selected the other twin will get sibling points. In a situation of draw of lots, the names of both will be considered in a single chit. Either both will be selected or both will not be considered for admission.
ii	The details and schedule (date, time & venue) of the ‘GENERAL CATEGORY DRAW OF LOTS’ will be available on the school website https://www.dpsrkp.net. Kindly note that SMS and/or Email will not be sent separately to intimate the same.  The draw will be held using a random method, in public view and with complete transparency.  The date and time (schedule) for the verification of documents for applicants within the cutoff limit will be intimated by email from the respective junior schools.   The school will not accept any request for a change of date or time of verification. Do not miss the schedule as sent by the respective junior schools.
iii	The verification process of the documents will be held in the respective Junior Schools as per the assigned date & time. Please note –  All the correspondence will only be through email. The email(s) will be sent on the email id(s) given in the registration form to report at the school on a specified date and time for verification of documents. Check your email frequently and be alert. No SMS or telephonic call will be made by the school. No request for change of date and time will be accepted. Both the parents of the applicant must be present to submit the self-attested copies of the above listed documents and to sign the letter of undertaking in the presence of the school admission verification team. In case, the parents of the applicant do not report for the verification of documents on the assigned date and time, their application will stand cancelled without any further intimation from the school.
iv	FIRST LIST – The First List of PROVISIONALLY SELECTED CHILDREN & WAITLISTED CHILDREN will be displayed on the school website for further completion of formalities i.e. filling up of the Admission Form, submission of true copies, verification of Original Certificates, medical formalities and fee deposit.
v	SECOND LIST – After assessing the vacancies, the Second List (if any) of PROVISIONALLY SELECTED CHILDREN will be declared as per schedule. Accordingly, the positions of the waitlisted children under the GENERAL CATEGORY LIST will move up. In case of any further vacancies, subsequent list(s) will be declared.
vi	All admissions will close on 31st March 2022.

Instructions for filling up the Registration Form

•  Parents should read the instruction carefully before filling in the Registration Form to avoid rejection

In pursuance to the Director of Education, Govt. of NCT of Delhi order F.DE.15 (172)/PSB/2016/4861-4871 dated 30.11.2021 the following criteria have been laid down for admission to Pre-School Class in the school for the year 2021-22.

School Specific Criteria (General Seats)

The School specific admission criteria has been devised on a 100 point scale to be distributed as under:

3.1 In case of Neighbourhood, the applications must be accompanied by Google road map showing the distance from their residence to the school. Points would be given according to the defined number of kilometers in a range.

3.2 In case of siblings, the application must be accompanied by self-attested photocopy of the Student’s Identity Card (both sides) and photocopy of the latest fee payment receipt of the sibling student indicating the admission number.

3.3. Selection of Candidates for admission in Pre-School Class during the session 2022-2023

• School follows the 100-point scale system.
• Out of the total applications from the neighborhood range and Sibling Criteria admission would be first offered to the candidates attaining maximum points.
• If the applications attaining similar points are more than the seats of general category, the draw of lots shall be conducted to admit the students against the number of available seats.
• If vacancies remain unfilled after exhausting the applications from the first lot of maximum scorers, the applications from the next lot of maximum scorers shall be considered in the above manner.

EWS & DG Category
The school shall not process the admission of EWS/DG Category students. The D.O.E. will process the applications online for admission in schools as per the guidelines.

Age

As per D.O.E. Order the child should be at least three (03) years old as on 31st March of the year for admission in Preschool. However, the child must be less than 04 years old as on 31st March 2022.This includes all the children born between 01.04.2018 & 31.03.2019

Registration

The process of Nursery Registration will be conducted both via online and offline modes.

For OFF-LINE Registration: Standardized registration forms shall be available at the Gate no. 2 of the school on all working days from Wednesday, 15 December 2021 to Friday, 07 January 2022 between 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on payment of Rs.25/- only.

The filled in forms should be deposited at Gate no. 2 of the school between 10:00 am to 02:00 pm on all working days. The last date for deposit of application form for registration shall be Friday, 07 January 2022 upto 02.00 pm.

For ON-LINE Registration: Online Registration forms will be available on the school website. The direct link to apply online will be available in the Admission page of the school website from Wednesday, 15 December 2021 to Friday, 07 January 2022 up to 02:00 pm. Instructions and guidelines to fill the On-line form available on the website should be carefully read and followed.

1. Criteria for Neighbourhood:

• Admission shall first be offered to students residing within 3 kms of the school.
• In case the vacancy remains unfilled, students residing within 3 to 6 kms of the school shall be admitted.
• Students residing beyond 6 kms shall be admitted only in case vacancies remain unfilled even after considering all the students within 6 kms area.

2: Process of Admission within Neighbourhood:

• • Out of the total applications, the school shall first give admission to all siblings and wards of staff members.
  • Then The school shall first segregate the applications having residence within the first neighbourhood range of 0 – 3 kms.
  • If the applications of sibling and staff ward category are less than the seats of General Category and if seats still remain vacant after exhausting siblings and staff ward applications, the school shall admit the students on the basis of draw of lots from the remaining applications received under the neighbourhood range 0-3 kms.
  • In case the total applications of 0-3 kms is less than the number of seats of General Category , and vacancies still remain unfilled after exhausting the applications from the distance range of 0-3 kms, the applications from the second distance range of neighbourhood of 3-6 kms shall be considered in the above manner.
  • The students residing beyond 6 kms shall be admitted only in case vacancies remain unfilled even after considering all the students within 6 kms after following the procedure as mentioned above.

.Availability of Registration Form

A. Admission counter at the school reception :The candidates can register their names at the admission counter of the school on all working days from 18^th February, 2021 to 04^th March, 2021 between 8.30 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. on payment of Rs.25/- only.

The filled in forms should be deposited in the office of the school upto 04^th March, 2021, till 1: 00 p.m. on all working days.

   (Mother /Father having name of child)
   (b) Domicile certificate of child or of his/her parents.
   (c) Voter – I Card (EPIC) of any of the parents.
   (d) Electricity Bill/ MTNL telephone bill/Water bill/ Passport in the name of any of the parents or child.
   (e) Aadhar Card/UID card issued in the name of child or any of the parents
   (f) Lease deed made six months prior to the submission of the application form along with an affidavit on stamp paper should be submitted in case of rental accommodation ) or any other documents as approved / directed or allowed by the Government.

(iii) In case of sibling applicants: the identity card/ admission order/ latest fee receipt of the sibling.
(iv) If the information provided is found to be incorrect or false, the applicant shall be automatically debarred from selection process without any correspondence in this regard.

Note : Self attested photocopies of the supporting documents must be submitted with the registration form.

1. Parents can fill and submit the online Registration Form for Admission from our School’s website : sbdav.com . Alternatively, they may collect the Registration form from School Reception between 8:30 a.m. To 11:30 a.m.

Instructions for Online Registration for Admissions

1. Login: sbdav.redoxerp.com.
2. Click on parent option.
3. Insert Email Id and Mobile No.
4. Read instructions carefully.
5. Click continue and fill up the form completely.
6. The application will be deemed as rejected in case of incomplete form/ documents or sending cash/ cheque with the application
7. Aadhar Card Nos, Email addresses and Mobile Nos. are mandatory to be filled.
8. Upload (1) Student’s photograph (2) Date of Birth Certificate (3) Address Proof 
9. Only Online Payment will be accepted.
10. Do not use symbols like (‘) single quote & (“) double quote as these symbols cannot be accepted by the software.
11. Click on Register & Pay to complete online process. You will receive Online Registration Number on successful submission.
12. Registration fee Rs. 25/ non refundable.
13. Take/ keep the print out of the online submitted form for your own reference if you want

 

Instructions for Offline Registration for Admission

2. Bring filled form along with the following documents :-

(i) Student’s Photograph

(ii) Copy of Date of Birth Certificate 

(iii) Any two Valid Address Proof  viz. Ration Card/Smart Card issued in the name of parents (Mother/Father having name of the child, Domicile certificate of child or of his/her parent. Voter I-Card (EPIC) of any of the parents, Electricity Bill/MTNL Telephone Bill/ Water Bill/ Passport in the name of any of the parents or child, Aadhar Card/UID Card issued in the name of any of the parent.
