Registration Registration for the applicants under General Category will be completely Online on the school website  www.dpsrkp.net . Important: There is NO FEE charged for Online Registration. There are three steps of registration [Step 1] [Step 2] [Step 3 - Registration Complete] Registration will only be considered complete when you receive a Registration Number in Step 3. It is a must for the applicant to take a print out of Step 3 carrying the Registration Number on it. Duplicate registration will automatically amount to the cancellation of any one of the registrations of the applicant. Apply for admission to only one of the two Junior Schools (DPS East of Kailash OR DPS Vasant Vihar). Applications submitted in both the schools will result in the CANCELLATION of both the applications. 5. Neighbourhood Consideration Please click on the AREA MAP for reference. However, please note that the school transport will only be provided on available routes. The school does not guarantee or commit to provide transport facility on non-existing routes. Essential Documents Required The applicants shall produce the relevant documents in original at the time of verification along with a set of SELF ATTESTED photocopies listed below as and when required by the school (Refer point 7 (iii)). Kindly note these are not required at the time of online registration. i FOR ALL APPLICANTS Birth Certificate issued by the Municipal Corporation with the NAME of the child mentioned on the certificate. ii FOR ALL APPLICANTS Proof of residence (Minimum 2 out of the following) Ration card/Smart Card issued in the name of parents (mother/father having name of the child.) Domicile certificate of child or his / her parents. Voter Identity Card /EPIC of any of the parents. Electricity Bill / MTNL Telephone Bill / Water Bill / Passport in the name of any of the parents or child. Aadhar Card / Unique Identity Card in the name of any of the parents. iii FOR SIBLING - A copy of the Fee Bill / RFID Card issued by the school office for the Academic Session 2018-2019. iv FOR ALUMNI (OF DPS RK PURAM ONLY) - A copy of the pass certificate of X / XII issued by CBSE. v FOR LEGALLY ADOPTED CHILD - Relevant legal documents Admission to the school is subject to verification of the documents listed above, and submission of a letter of undertaking, self-attested by both the parents in front of the verification team. The undertaking should clearly certify that the information given is correct and the documents submitted are true copies of the original. This undertaking will also imply that the parents accept the decision of the school to cancel the registration / admission as final and binding, if at any given time any information or document submitted is found to be wrong/fake/untrue. 7. Steps involved in the Admission Process for GENERAL CATEGORY: STEP DESCRIPTION i At the first instance, the names of the ‘SHORT-LISTED’ applicants who have higher value points/  above the cut-off i.e. above the points of other applicants will be put up. The ‘GENERAL Category LIST FOR DRAW OF LOTS’ (for applicants with same value points in a tie for remaining seats) will also be put up. NOTE: Criteria for Twins: In the case of twins, if one is selected the other twin will get sibling points. In a situation of draw of lots, the names of both will be considered in a single chit. Either both will be selected or both will not be considered for admission. ii The details and schedule of the ‘GENERAL CATEGORY DRAW OF LOTS’ will be available on the school website. The draw will be held using a random method, in complete transparency. iii The verification process of the documents will be held in the respective Junior Schools as and when intimated by the respective admission team of the Junior School for the applicants, whose points are within the zone of consideration. Please note, both parents have to be present to submit self-attested copies of the above listed documents and to sign the letter of undertaking in the presence of the verification team. iv FIRST LIST – The First List of PROVISIONALLY SELECTED CHILDREN & WAITLISTED CHILDREN will be displayed on the school website for further completion of formalities i.e. filling up of the Admission Form, submission of true copies, verification of Original Certificates, medical formalities and fee deposit. v SECOND LIST – After assessing the vacancies, the Second List (if any) of PROVISIONALLY SELECTED CHILDREN will be declared as per schedule. Accordingly, the positions of the waitlisted children under the GENERAL CATEGORY LIST will move up. In case of any further vacancies the 3rd, 4th, 5th lists will be declared. vi All admissions will close on 31st March 2019. 8. 2. The Online Registration form will be available on the school website www.dpsdwarka.com from Saturday, 15/12/2018  (06:00 a.m.)  to Monday, 07/01/2019 (8:00 p.m.).

You are advised to fill in only one form. Duplicate/Multiple registrations will be summarily rejected.

7. In case of registered applicants getting identical total points in the cut-off score, a limited use of the lottery system would be adopted, subject to availability of seats.

8. Guidelines for Filling ONLINE Forms

• Select the appropriate class for admission (PRE-SCHOOL/PRE-PRIMARY/CLASS I)
• This is an electrometric registration form for Delhi Public School, Dwarka only. Please read the instructions carefully before filling in the form to avoid rejection of your form. All you need to do is to fill in the boxes with the required information.
• You may access the Google map for referring to the aerial distance between the school and your residence.
• Non-refundable Registration Fee
  • Arrange Bank Draft of Rs. 25/- drawn in favour of DPS Dwarka
  • Mention the details of Draft/Pay Order in the Registration Form.
  • Quote the Registration No. on the reverse side of the Bank Draft
  • Dispatch the Draft/Pay Order to DPS Dwarka, Sector – 3, Phase 1, Dwarka New Delhi 110078 by Registered/Speed Post.
• After completing the Registration form, click on the ‘SUBMIT FORM’ button for final registration. A Registration Number will be generated. Take a print out as a proof and quote this Registration Number for all further correspondence with the school.
• Copy of the registration form will be sent to the Email Id of any of the parents as entered in the registration form. An SMS will also be sent to the number mentioned for ‘communication purpose’ in the registration form.
• SMS Service: On final submission of the registration form, an SMS will be sent to the mobile number entered for communication purposes. To register your mobile number for the same and to get SMS from the school, sent the following SMS:

Type Text in message box: Start 22600 and Send it to 5424245.

Once the confirmation SMS is received your will start getting the messages from DPS Dwarka.

• • Please note that those who do not register or those who have DND service activated on their numbers will not receive any SMS from the school.

• Kindly Note:

• • Incomplete forms will not be accepted by the system.

• • Only one registration form will be accepted for one applicant. More than one registration will lead to DISQUALIFICATION.

• • ONCE THE REGISTRATION FORM IS SUBMITTED, NO CHANGES IN THE ENTRIES WILL BE ENTERTAINED THEREAFTER.

11. Documents required to be verified before Admission to Pre-School/Pre-Primary/Class I  (2019-2020): (Final admission is subject to the verification of the following documents in original. Photocopies will not be accepted)

• Original Birth Certificate of the child issued by Municipal Corporation or equivalent authority.
• Some indicative documents which can be submitted as proof of residence (any two proofs of the following)

  i) Ration card issued in the name of Parents (Mother/Father having name of child)
  ii) Domicile certificate of child or of his/her parents
  iii) Voter-I Card (EPIC) of any of the parent
  iv)  Latest Electricity bill/MTNL bill/Water bill/Passport in the name of any of the parent or child.
  v) Aadhar card/UID card issued in the name of any of the parent.

• Medical fitness certificate of the child issued by a Medical Officer.
• In case of sibling applicants, the school RFID/ Identity Card /Fee Bill of the sibling studying in DPS Dwarka.
• Copy of AISSCE (Class XII) Board Pass certificate/ Marks Statement of the parent(s) for claim under Alumni Category.

Please note that Self Attested photocopies of the above documents are to be submitted. No undertaking regarding the documents mentioned above will be accepted at the time of verification of documents.

12. Fee Structure:

Fee structure for the year 2019-20 will be notified in due course of time.

CERTIFICATE FROM THE PARENT

• I/we, hereby certify that the above information provided by me/us is correct .I/we understand that if the information is found to be incorrect or false at any point of time, my ward will be automatically debarred from the selection/ admission process and admission will be cancelled by the school without any correspondence in this regard.

• I/we also understand that the application/ registration/ wait-listing does not guarantee admission to my ward. I/we accept the process of admission undertaken by the school and I/we will abide by the decision taken by the school authorities.

• I/we undertake to submit all the required documents in original for verification by the school authorities and pay fees within the stipulated time period.

I missed out on this thread...So couldn't visit DPS Dwarka for document verification... now does this mean our chance of getting the admission is cancelled??

It's written

Not reporting for verification process on mentioned date by the eligible
applicants will be treated as their unwillingness and forfeit their claim for
admission. It’s a time bound process and no request for change/extension of
date will be considered under any condition.

They won't allow anybody inside without prior appointment or purpose. You should visit
