The DOE notification is for last year. When will the forms be out for Delhi schools for the year 2019-2020

@Simrat: Yes the DOE notification attached currently is for last year it will soon be updated for next session by DOE around end of December. The forms are usually out from early January.

Is aadhar mandatory for the child during admission process? I heard Supreme court passed a verdict that it not mandatory? Please clarify?

Also, do schools ask for original Birth Certificate to be submitted during aplication process? Can we attach xerox of BC while submitted App[lication, we can produce originals on request.

Supreme Court said on Wednesday. It also held that there was no need to provide the 12-digit unique identification number for school admissions.

Original B.C only to be submitted, in the school where child is admitted and kept till the time child is in the school.

Rest at the time of applying you can give zerox copies.

Always better to have few more original copies as might require in future for other purposes by Respective B.C issuing authority, in case you want extra Original B.C at nominal cost.

What about Aadhar card. Is it mandatory or optional? Even in the DOE notifcation it says its optional.

Aadhaar as address proof optional but not mandatory for school admissions.

Thanks, what about passport as address proof of the child?
