Hi,

I have two questions.

1. Do we need to have Affidavit (distance, girl child, etc.) for each of the school? I see the format has name of the school hence assuming one for each school depending on if they are asking for it.

2. Do Convent schools follow the same dates as DOE notification?

1 If school does not mention you can have common Affidavit (distance, girl child, etc.)for all schools. Very few schools ask school name on Affidavit . Last year some schools accepted even zerox copies of Affidavit at the time of applying.

2 Convent schools ( Minority Schools have autonomy  to frame there own guidelines from Hon' HC) But they do follow the DOE Calendar.Only thing is some of them do not give forms for the complete  window but others do, so it's school specific.

wrt Convent schools, i realise it is very difficult to secure an admission due to sheer demand vs limited seats available for non minority candidates, nonetheless will apply to the one which are are closer to home.

Can we produce notary affidavit or it has to be from SDM only?

Notary affidavit is sufficient unless specified by schools who ask for affidavit by SDM

Hello everyone,

I have few queries.

Aadhar card of my child carries my old address while my wife's aadhar card carries my current addresss. Shall I get my son's address rectified before admission process on his Aadhar card?

I have only Aadhar as identity/address proof for my son, will it be enough or shall I get him a passport or something else?

Does the original birth certificate means a copy of the certificate downloaded from the MCD website?

Address proof of either parents will do. So you can submit your wife's aadhar for address proof. You can do change of address for your child even after admission. DPS schools generally ask for 2 address proofs if you wish to apply as per previous years experience. 

Original birth certificates will be issued by MCD after registration. Rest all downloaded ones are copies of birth certificates.

After admission  schools may collect only attested copy of the birth certificate. So original will be always with you.

DPS schools ask for 2 address proofs of parents or child?

The original birth certificate is to be collected from the MCD office after registration or what?  I was told to just download the certificate from MCD website in 2016.

Some of DPS  in Delhi asked for 2 address proof in previous years.

If MCD certificates are totally online then  no worries.
