It was informative however I have a few queries...

1. Does this site or any other portal allow to apply to chosen schools with one common form ?

2. The affidavits that you list here - aren't they to be prepared only when and if required by a school and not otherwise ? Plz correct me if I am wrong.

There is no common form for Gen Cat parents (only for EWS/DG by Govt)

All prestigious schools accept forms directly from parents only.( You can call any established school and confirm from them)

Moreover  schools follow their own point system ( school specific) How can common form be there. 

Yes affidavits are to be prepared only when and if required by a school.

You daughter is eligible as min age for nursery is 3 yrs on 31 mar 2018

Every school has different criteria ( school specific)

Yes age relaxation for EWS/DG cat but no points for girl child in EWS/DG cat as its computerized lottery

a. Application procedure

b. Criteria of selection(Points)

c. Government vs Private ownership of schools

Also, Can you help me shortlist good schools near Patel Nagar(in order) ?

Hi Isha,

I was the last year parent. Delhi Nursery admissions starts from last week of December to first week on January.

From the past 2 years its from first week of January.

Procedure is different in each school based on online and offline forms.

There are points for distance, almunai, siblings etc. Each school publish the details on the website so wait for the guidelines.

Meanwhile ensure that you have the following documents ready:

1.Aadhar card of parents including child's Aadhar ( last year some schools asked for child Aadhar). 

2. Updated address proof like passport / Aadhar card , MTNL Telephone bills etc

3. Child birth certificate

4. By December ensure you click your childs passport size photographs as you will be needing them including yours and husband.

5. Do keep scanned copies and the above documents and for photographs do have pics in jpg format as few schools like Mothers Intl, Birla Vidya Niketan and Chinmaya Vidhyalaya, DPS VK you need to upload the documents online.
