One school if I remember correctly blue bells stated 1mb...incase u are not able to upload in any case u you are going to take print n paste pics... Plus attach docs

Hi Saskhi,

I see in the Directorate of Education Circular (http://www.edudel.nic.in/upload_2015_16/77_dt_19122016.pdf) of 2016 states that No schol can refuse to take application forms until the last date of submission of application forms, yet i hear from people that one has to que outside the schools from 4 am in the morning to get application forms, else they get over etc.

Is that true? I dont want to stand if it not required, yet dont want to be late for getting application form/submitting it. Please reply.

1 Minority schools have autonomy  from HC so they go per their whims and fancies ( Not all follow DOE guidelines)

2 Many schools giving physical forms give time slot (of morning for 2-3 hours IN SCHOOL TIME) to get and then submit  till last day)  that's why queue is there

First collect physical forms n submit them then apply for online forms.

NO NEED TO GO AT 4 AM IN ANY SCHOOL

Hi S Shukla,

I am a last year parent and i can assure you that you do not need to go to any school at 4 AM.

Normally the school has timings of Physical distribution of forms between 9-12 and the schools giving physical forms are really prompt at their work and really quick. It will not take you more than 20 mins to take a form. Few schools have various counters to give the forms. To save your time ensure you carry a change on money ( Forms in schools normally costs 25 rs).

However while the physical distribution of forms it might take you a while because schools check all the documents during the Physical distribution. 

Ensure all the documents are in place and carry originals and extra copies of the documents / Photographs etc in case anything last minute requirement.

Avoid going on the last day of the submission as there will be a rush on last day.

Most schools have proper sitting area for parents so that they can wait for their turn.

Rest the process is smooth and no need to worry.

Your explicit reply was very helpful indeed..many thanks :)

I now know how to prepare and what to expect.

From your experience, are there sufficient forms for every one in the que or there are limited forms and are distributed on first come basis. I have this fear of forms getting over by the time my turn comes!

Hi  S Shukla,

Do not worry they have sufficient forms for everyone. No school will deny to give you admission form even if you go on last day to purchase the form.

I have one more query- for schools giving physical forms, are there sufficient forms for every one, or they only give limited forms so even if one is there within the given timeslot but not ahead in que, there is danger of forms getting over by the time my turn comes?
