Hi Sakshi, My son is going to complete it's 3 years by next year March 2018 some people are advising me that a three old boy cannot communicate easily and we should provide more time to the ward. Can you help for the confusion Are the schools able to handle and can take care. He is going to nearby home playschool and came by 12:00. means he can spend three hours. Does the bigger school pressure is so hard? Can you please help?

Hi Animesh,

I was a last year parent and i can understand your anxiety quite well.

When my son entered nursery he was just 3.3. 

I agree that play schools give lots of comfort to kids however in formal mainstream schools the trend is changing:

As Sakshi explained April is the settling time for all children. First month the schools go very light and they have all activities will consists of just coloring, dances, free play time etc.

Infact schools takes extra care of kids during the first few days.

Than by 15th May the summer vacations starts and when the secession again starts in July again first few days are very light.

Now a days some good schools are dividing the classes as per age. Eg: All kids between 3-3.5 in one section ans all kids between 3.6 to 4 yrs in different sections. This is to par with the skill sets of the children.

Like play schools even the formal mainstream schools like celebrations for Janmashtmi, Diwali and all other festivals so kids are normally busy every month with something or the other.

When my son entered nursery he was hardly talking but after few months we saw a change.

Nursery class is a cake walk and when the admission dates are close by explain to your child that he will soon go to big school and it will be fun etc etc show the pictures of his big school from school website. 

3 Upper cut off cage is Sub Judice ( As last year many school did not give admission in Nursery  to 4 yrs + parents on 31 Mar 2017 ) and i also recommend to block seat in Nursery this year.

KG they have very few vacancy.

Hi Sakshi,

1. Are DAV(Vasant Kunj) & DAV(East of Kailash) same?

2. If no then why is there no link to DAV(EOK) on your 2017-2018 admission list on top ?

3. Does both have nursery(I certainly know DAV(eok) have it...below links proves that)

Yes both are different schools

Last year Govt had set separate criteria for schools on Govt  land and case was Sub Judice  and admissions were delayed and Many schools changed criteria after HC verdict went in their favor  of schools

Many schools did not post updated criteria on school website
