Ohhh. But The Neev devision (chattarpur) for red roses is different and i have heard from one parent who visited it... that infra is gud. They are taking new admissions for nursery and kg there only.

I hope all parents know this now.

Finally paid fees for Somerville, Vasundhara Enclave. Thanks to this group, all the members and admin for the support and guidance. :)

Would love to hear from all parents about where did they got there child admitted. This would help in networking & discussing the pros & cons of the school. Would request all parents community to share this news if possible.

Starting from me: I got my child admitted in GD Salwan, Rajender Nagar...!!

Thank you so much Sakshi. I remember the day one when I asked you to give reviews for Somerville Vasundhara Enclave. Not knowing at that time that my girl's luck will hit there itself. I filled forms in only 2 schools and my friends nearby filled almost 10-15. I was not much hopeful about My Luck but My Girl hit that :) All blessings that worked. It was a very learning experience actually as a parent. :)

Sadhu vaswani international school for girls... I always wanted this school for my twin girls since beginning.  It's located in South West so less people apply either from South or west side plus girls school 50% chance of more selection plus bonus sindhi points if  any parent is sindhi... Hope my choice is a good one for my girls.  Good wishes to all other parents... Keep up hope. I despite having twin girls got call from St Paul and Indian school 10-15 days after getting my daughters enrolled in SVIS.  Remember their is always a next chance get your child enrolled in whatever school you get and try for next year.  It's not the end.  Marks do not matter,  it's the knowledge and its application that matters.  Allow your child to learn more skills then simple rote learning. :-)

Hi  Pankaj and AN-Team,

Nice to e-meet you on this group. I am Shalini, and our daughter got admission to Salwan Montessori, Rajinder Nagar. Regarding sharing personal thoughts, I have two points to make -

1. Schools with religious leanings should consider inter-religion marriages positively. My case is an example. A Hindu myself, married a Catholic, our daughter is baptised too, but schools discriminated against us on the grounds of both parents not being Catholic. Schools are not there to promote religious sentiments instead they should preach/teach secularism. Secondly, in such desperate times when the right wing people have heightened religious commitments, schools are one institution we all look up to for instilling communitarian and secular ideologies into the children of this nation.

2. Very few schools wanted to know the preferences/expectations of the parents. Can't there be a column on the admission form, where we can fill in out expectations from schools? It cannot function as a one-way relation where schools give, and parents suit ourselves to schools that our children secure admission.

Sorry for a long post, but these are two of my concerns that I thought worth raising. Good luck to all the parents for the next course of schooling of our kids.
